The TEI residential team manages 20 buildings in the tri-state area. Our sales and rental listings range from co-ops and condos to apartments and lofts. We've been in this business a long time and understand what it means to be a world-class residential brokerage.

I lived in a Time Equities apartment (West Village) for 10 years. I always received excellent administrative and maintenance support. I lived in a Time Equities building for nearly 20 years until last month. For the entire time, they handled everything with courteousness and respect. One nice thing about having a professional management company is that it affords multiple support systems. So, for example, even when our super was on vacation, there were other people we could call on for help. Bil, our super, was dependable and enormously hardworking. And I'm especially grateful to Rose, who was my contact when I first signed my lease in 2001, and she stayed accessible and helpful throughout my entire two decades at the building

This landlord and its in-house legal department do not respond to calls and emails from tenant or tenant's attorney. They have withheld a security deposit for more than 6 months and refused the final walk-through when Tenant surrendered the premises. Tenants be warned about doing business with this Landlord.

Rose, Adnan and the team are professional, responsive, and generally great to work with. We had signed a longterm lease after enjoying our first year and then the COVID quarantine hit, so we decided to leave Manhattan. Time Equities facilitated a lease takeover to a new tenant, and were understanding and efficient throughout that process.
We're sad to leave the building, but would live in another of their buildings any time.

One of the worst companies to deal with. Actually was a tenant for close to year and left because they owed me a ton of money since July. Every week I have asked about it since past 60 days. Every week I’m told 2 weeks I’ll have checks or I’ll have checks at the end of the week. Still have not received and penny so I left as a tenant. I have called there main office in New York almost every other day and receive no call back or even a email. I wouldn’t recommend being a tenant or doing any work for them. I was at BIC at 955 Connecticut ave. Bridgeport. I ton of tenants hate being there

Be Aware! You may not get your security deposit back. I was a tenant for 3 years at one of their commercial properties. They did the bare minimum maintenance to the building, but the real trouble strated when i moved out: it has been more then 5 months and they still did not refund my security deposit, despite the fact that the lease states they are supposed to return it in 30 days. I reached out to their Director of Commercial Rents multiple times, and she stalled me everytime, promised that they are sending my check next week. Then she stopped responding all together. Still waiting...

I love Time Equities. I used to live in buildings with terrible management and started to believe the widespread notion that all property management companies are just like that. But since living in two different TE buildings I have had nothing but great experiences. Their buildings are kept clean, their Supers are attentive and helpful and the landscaping and general maintenance are always above expectations. If you ever have a question or concern they are always happy to help. Such a positive improvement on my life. I don't usually leave reviews on Yelp, but they deserve it.

This company is the reason landlords in New York City get such a bad rap. After having a great relationship and zero problems over the course of 10+ years with our building's landlord, they sold to Time Equities. It's been nothing but trouble ever since. They won't return your phone calls, they blow off responsibilities citing "other departments," they favor legal action over communication and they will do everything in their power to keep your deposit. They are 90% of our reason for leaving an awesome and beloved apt of over a decade-- now with a bad taste in our mouths
