I was looking for a new rental apartment, after being fed up from living in a slumlord building in the East Village. I had my mind set on the financial district for a change. Main reason for me was that FiDi is currently very affordable on the rental market. Buildings offer lots of amenities at a competitive rate. I like living close to the subway, ferry, river, bike paths. In the financial district that's all at your fingertips.
