In 2022 they are still renting units and not allowing the leasing resident to view the actual unit. poor Cleaning, painted doors peel when touched, baseboards need replacement ASAP. Blinds don't fit the window leaving window exposed, the fan shakes and makes a loud tapping sound. The absolutely worst. My advice is see the actual unit and not a look a like Before signing.

I love this place! I was able to find this apartment home on a Friday and had everything reviewed, signed, and move-in ready by Tuesday. The ladies that work in the office are so kind and helpful. My floor plan included a den and a one car garage. I really loved my space! It had all the upgrades, a fishing pond, dog park, and of course a pool area. The neighbors are very friendly as well. This place exceeded my expectations of apartment living. They have an amazing team that goes above and beyond! If your looking this is definitely the one.

I have only lived here 7 months and in those 7 months I have to submit at least 6 AC maintenance requests! It leaked and leaked and leaked all Summer and the weird backup drain over the master shower leaked so much and so often that it molded and mildewd no matter how often I cleaned it or tried to keep it dry. They told me once the leak was fixed they would send someone to replace the molded tiles and sealant. Two days before they were supposed to come do the work, I called to find out that management decided not to replace anything not even the water damaged ceiling. You get to pay over $1900

I wouldn't recommend this place solely on the office customer service. They never answer their phone. After snow storm we went without water for WEEKS. If you needed a shower you couldn't use the ones they had running if you had a job during the day. So many went without. Worst experience ever, especially when you talk to Christine. She need to work on her empathy and customer service. Watch them reply like they have on everyone review with the apt complex phone number. Acting like they actually care. But funny thing about it. What the point telling me to call you when you DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE

Not a bad community until you have to deal with staff from the office...Had a horrible experience with Cristina, she has a nasty attitude, little personable and shows very little empathy or care towards tenants. Spoke to assistant manager, Charlotte I believe her name is and figured out where Cristina got her attitude from. Don't recommend it at all...

I have been living here for the past 2 years & not once have I got a hold of the people in the front office! We in building 5 are now ending our 11th day with no water! As I do understand the circumstances of the availability on supplies for plumbing & the demands for vendors are extremely high the least they can do is keep us paying residents updated on the status of making our home livable again! I am a 70 year old woman & my husband is disabled, going up & down the stairs to get the 5 gallon bucket they're providing as accommodation isn't so accommodating. Maintenance shows up get into your apt without notice, they take a long time to fix stuff, my a/c stops working all the time and no one answers the phone, my air filter needs to be changed and nothing yet,had to call the cops on my neighbors more than once cause of how loud they are, even in the pandemic they only ask about money, even knowing the situation is really tough. Is a nice complex but service wise has go down... Disappointed at the complex. Also the portal never works is always changing my password and I can never reset it.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend this place the apartment is not updated for what you pay for the summer was worst the ac system they have does not cool the apartment and it was extremely hot all summer. Maintenance takes forever to fix things I notice because they are too busy not minding their business n hanging out. It seems more like a college domartory setting they send mass emails of new rules almost weekly. I also wish they had more activties for older tenants they need something to do besides complain as well. Thankfully my lease is up in a month.

Couldn’t be happier to live within a community that has a truly all around dedicated and caring staff!
Billy came out after hours (late), clearly after he was off for the day and was here within 30mins! I have never had that happen with anywhere I have lived, especially an after 9pm maintenance request!
The office staff from front to back has provided an excellent experience for my family and I while living here!

I hate to leave this review because i loved these apartments before. I've been a resident for about 3 years now and the new owners are horrible. Our ac was out the entire month of June and our electric bill was close to $300 and the owner told me to take her to court because "she always wins" and also told me I was ungrateful. Unfortunately I am stuck in a lease for another 6 months. They have no respect for your personal property, I've had to throw out countless things because they've gotten paint or something else on it. They were doing work in the apartment down stairs

We really enjoy the Ashford apartment complex. There are awesome Amenities, a great pool, fitness center, barbecue area, and outdoor fireplace area. The pond is peaceful and beautiful. The staff has always been helpful, friendly and prompt. My apartment has not been renovated but I’ve heard the renovations are fabulous.

I've just moved in here and I have to say, I've extremely disappointed in the condition of the apartment. They showed us a different unit because ours "wasn't ready" until after we signed the lease. Once we actually were able to see the condition of the unit, we could tell why they didn't want to show it to us. The carpet is in terrible condition with multiple disgusting stains. The apartment was not cleaned properly. Dust caked on vents, blinds, and ceiling fan. Dirt and paint chips/debris all over the floors. The blinds are all bent out of shape and look horrible and yellowed from age. Management

I have lived here for four years. Last year the property changed to new ownership. They have remodeled the common areas and have focused on improving the property. The location is convenient and lovely with a lake in the center. The management is excellent at keeping up the grounds to look their best. It is very quiet and peaceful and the office staff is attentive and accessible. I am looking forward to many years of calling this my home.

Ballantrae Springs. I lived there for two years. 2007 to 2009. It was pretty but an awful place. My third month there the property manager called me at work only to tell me that I should be less open about my homosexuality while on property. Hello... I only talked about about my now husban and partner of 15 years in the pool area once. over the two years I lived the the front door lock stopped working. Then the garage door stopped working, then the backdoor lock stopped working, and three months later after nothing was fixed, I moved out. And did so without breaking my lease because I hadn&apos

Warning**** do not rent at this property! Atrocious management headed by BJ a monster who needs medical attention. I received numerous harassing notices and court action whilst living here. I even attempted talking to the office staff yet to avail proceedings continued. BJ needs to eat her own "humble pie"

I have lived in many apartments in my life. I have always had realistic expectations as far in the way of noise and general aesthetics of apartments. With that being said, Ballantrae Springs is by far the worst complex I have ever resided in. Everything is falling apart. The second matinence fixes something and walk out the door, something else breaks. The carpets should have been replaced prior to move in, instead they were "cleaned" leaving behind multiple large stains and and awful texture as if the shampoo hadn't even been removed out of the carpet. Both of these complexes were on the short list when we moved to this part of Carrollton. We had our usual list of questions we asked apartment offices and the top of the list is "Pet policy".
When we were told there was an $800 non-refundable pet fee (PER pet) plus pet rent every month, I laughed out loud. I mean. Come on. You're high, right? No? Okay.... *backs slowly out the door*
