Services
Owner of Silver Moon Yoga, Sarah Gorham Silverman began practicing yoga nearly 20 years ago and has been teaching since 2008. Yoga to her is a way to de-stress, slow down, feel good - and ultimately be and feel more like herself. Sarah goes by the pronouns she and her. Sarah grew up in the Piney Woods of East Texas and began a steady yoga practice while living in Austin TX.
Sarah Gorham Silverman teaches weekly classes and private sessions in person in Albuquerque, New Mexico and online via Zoom or Skype. A note about prop usage in prenatal yoga classes: The use of props may seem tedious at times, but we use them to support your pregnant body in postures, to allow for more options in movement through all trimesters, to keep you safe, and to help you relax more fully and feel great.
Enjoy the benefits of a private yoga session designed to specifically meet your needs. Sarah will provide detailed instruction with an eye on proper form and alignment so that you can move towards a pain-free and balanced practice. Private and semi-private yoga lessons are held in a home studio in NE Heights Albuquerque or online via Zoom or Skype.
If any posture does not feel right or good to you, please modify to take care of your body and your needs. If you are pregnant or less than 6 months postpartum, check with your midwife or doctor before beginning any of the following classes/series. Sarah Gorham Silverman of Silver Moon Yoga is not responsible for any injuries that may occur during or any time after performing any of this video.
A person who is eligible for registration as a Prenatal Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance has completed at a minimum both a 200 hour yoga teacher training and an 85 hour prenatal yoga teacher training from registered yoga schools. Once the person has completed these registered programs, they need to teach at least 30 hours of prenatal yoga.

I started prenatal yoga with Sarah at 16 weeks - I'm 28 now - and it was the best decision ever. It's the first time I've done yoga regularly and Sarah made me love it! Her classes are the best, I never get bored and I'm constantly challenged. But at the same time I feel very safe with her instructions - she's really really knowledgeable, she's paying attention all the time and corrects the smallest details about our position. Her studio is very welcoming and clean, with all the equipment we need for class, and her voice is so calm and peaceful. Sarah is great, she even offers organic fruits at

Sarah is very patient and helps you along with the poses. She always asks if there is something you want to work on particular and all the stretches are great to get you prepared for birth. I'm going to continue to practice yoga with her for as long as i can.

I always went to Sarah’s classes and LOVED them. She is really a great and patient instructor and I can always feel the results. I continued classes with her throughout each of my pregnancies and her method of instruction really improved my back pain. I wish I could be back in ABQ to take her classes now!
