I’ve lived here almost 3 years and never have any issues. Sept 14, I notice my toilet constantly running. Maintenance fixed it. 1 week later, my water heater was leaking. Fixed, but I wasn’t expecting a $600 overage.
Oct 24, I noticed a drip sound above my bed while it was raining. Maintenance came out, saw no discoloration on my bedroom ceiling, and completed the service call.
Oct 27, rained again. Same sound. Maintenance came out again, saw no discoloration, and said the office would have to get with the contractors to get up into the attic.
2 weeks later, contractors came in and said

I have lived at Cayo Grande the past 2 years and would like to give my honest review..
I would not recommend living here anytime in the near future. When we first moved in we were very happy.. but with staffing changes and the impacts of Hurricane Sally, the apartment complex quickly declined.
Our unit got water damage from Sally and we were told that the fans and dehumidifiers that ran in our unit for a month straight would not fix the damage, and we needed new flooring. Here we are a year later.. no new floors, buckling vinyl flooring, leaks from the ceiling and water trapped underneath the

I will be brief cause I could honestly rant about this place for hours. If cheaply made and poor quality was a place this would be it.
Do not ask the staff for anything unless you want to hear excuses. No deadlines will be met and no advertised amenities will be available. Glad I'm breaking my lease and leaving.

Avoid if you can. I was looking for a quick place to live, and Cayo Grande seemed like a perfect place to stay while looking for a new place. Wow, there were so many things wrong with the apartment, but the biggest one was MOLD! It was so much effort to get it repaired, I felt like they didn't believe me until I showed them pictures of it growing on the wall. During my year there, the following things had to be REPLACED, not repaired: air conditioner, washer, dryer, garbage disposal, lower portion of living room wall (mold), toilet tank plumbing, sink stops, and flooring in the bathroom. If you’re looking for a place in the area I would highly recommend! I lived here for a little over a year and had no complaints. The staff made me feel right at home and if I ever had any issues with anything they were right there to take care of it. Overall a great place to live! Thank you Cayo Grande!

We have been living here for almost three years now and love this Community of very friendly and kind people. As a woman I feel very safe here as I walk every day around the complex for exercise. The service technicians are very nice and always take care of any apartment concerns in a timely and professional manner. The office crew is also great and they make us feel right at home! If you are looking for an apartment community to live in this is it! Don't look any further!
