Button Lofts

I've only been at the Button Lofts for about 6 months now, but it a great apartment! High ceilings, big windows, and nice finishings. A lot of the negative reviews stem from the previous management company, which I didn't personally experience. I think Paige and the rest of the management team does a great job of maintaining the building and responding to issues.

We've been here for almost 5 years...It is a great location, the new management is so much more responsive, friendly, and actually cares about the residents. The old management was pretty bad, I think that is why the lofts have such a low rating. The new management keeps things really clean, and they are very helpful. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because we can't open our windows more than 6 inches and there are no screens. However, the windows are beautiful and are part of what we love about it here. The appliances are pretty nice, except the washer dryer combination. We dry almost everything

The Button Loft apartments are beautiful. I really like my place. The halls are kept clean and for the most part it’s quiet. Having a washer/dryer in the apartment is very nice. Management has always been responsive to my calls. There are a couple of things I would like to see - we should recycle ♻️. It would be great to have some outdoor picnic type area perhaps a grill or 2. As for the negative

Don’t bother. Management was horrible. Walls are so thin you can’t even enjoy tv at night without complaints from neighbors. Appliances break, and it’s imposisble to contact anyone. My fridge water dispenser was broken for my whole lease. I was on the top floor, paid extra per month to be up there. Soon regretted that. Multiple times during the winter months, I woke up to the roof leaking and puddles of water in my kitchen, living room and bedroom. Another awesome thing about the button lofts is the mail room. I've seen 4 mice here in 2 months. Almost $2,000 a month and you can't take care of a HORRIBLE pest problem???!!! The dish washer and washer and dryer that they provide are constantly braking and making a huge mess. Oh and I can't forget the bathroom lock that hasn't worked since the begining of the lease, and has yet to be fixed, 6 months later!! There are so many beautiful places to live in Rochester, don't waste you time or money here, please. I was also just informed that a couple apartments are having issues with bats as well... Lol.

Apartment is amazing. I can hear neighbors, but they are very respectable. Office staff is amazing and friendly. Maintenance takes care of all issues. I love the location. Right off of Monroe, I walk to the bars and home. Small friendly community

I have lived at the Button Lofts for 3 years. I love my apartment. It is loft style so very open floor plan. I look towards downtown Rochester and at night the view is amazing.
My neighbors are all very respectable and the office and maintenance staff are very responsive.

Terrible management. If you enjoy 100 degrees in the summer, unresponsive management and calling the police every weekend, then this is your place! The only 'management' their office does is making sure you pay on time, other than that you're on your own.

Worst landlord I have ever had. For the price, they ought to provide at least average management quality. The office is never staffed nor answering the phone during open hours, and there were endless maintenance issues during my stay of 1.5years. They made my original lease period a 13 month year then lost the documentation in my file. They submitted paperwork stating that the apartment was in good condition for my security deposit check to be issued, however, here we are 100 or more days later with no check. I will likely be taking them to court as my neighbor had to in the same situation at button
