I rented from flower city management for a year when I first moved to Rochester. The staff were nothing but polite, great people. Maintenance was very helpful in taking care of any issues I had. I had no problem getting my security deposit back when I moved out. I only ended up moving because I wanted to get a pet and they unfortunately do not allow them.

I rented a unit on Park Ave about 5 years ago. Just recently came across the management personnel and recalled how horrible this management was. I bet it is still as horrible as it was back then. Management that doesn't care about tenants and only thing that they care is to get your money. They used to hire homeless looking maintenance person and every time I needed to get something fixed, they never fixed. The maintenance comes in, but cannot fix it. I had a terrible odor issue with my neighbor and the management did absolutely nothing. Only thing they did was to call a police on me for intruding

Terrible experience living in this apartment building (268 Alexander). Mold was starting to grow on the living room walls and nothing was being done about it- they were going to paint over the stains but never even did that! One evening, a BAT (yes, a FLYING BLACK BAT) was in our apartment. My boyfriend had to take the screen off the window and shoo it out. Bug EVERYWHERE. Hot water NEVER worked. Plowing in winter was terrible. My (and others) packages were being stolen right from the front of the building. And as I'm reading reviews now- this has been happening for 5 years now!!!! Secure entrances

I am not sure what people are talking about on here. I recently moved into the medical arts building and the place is fantastic! I have no issues with maintenance and management. In fact, maintenance has been in my unit three time in the past week to show me how to work things. The building is immaculate and staff helpful and professional.
I'm assuming the reviews on here are from young students looking to rent and abuse the property. Sandra takes great pride in her buildings and the family business and she runs a tight ship-exactly what you want as a working professional paying good monies to

I rented from flower city management for almost a year. Moved and found someone to sublease because we couldn't stand living there anymore. There were maintenance issues that I asked many times about and filed work orders on the online tenant portal that were never addressed. I used a form of birth control that needed to be refrigerated and our fridge kept randomly freezing things. When I asked Sandra to address the issue she actually said something along the lines of "don't you want little ones running around?" Whether she was joking or not it was totally unprofessional. The hardwood floors had

Terrible experience. All Flower City Management cares about is money. I had several issues at the 274 Alexander St. apartment that I rented from them. The parking lot would flood to the point where tenants would have to move their car. They said it was the city's problem. Okay well it looks to me like it's your private parking lot since you have tow signs all around that it is private property. We had problems with our fridge freezing food, nothing was done. The oven we had to duct tape the prong that turns the oven light off because they wouldn't fix it. Shoddy overpriced apartments if you ask
