Goshen Inspection Service is a family business operating from Worden IL, about 10 miles outside Edwardsville IL and about 35 miles from St. Louis MO. Goshen Inspection Service has been in the independent home inspection business with the same inspection team since 1992. Our experience in inspecting a wide variety of structures allows us to provide you with a quality home inspection.

When you get an independent home inspection, what you are actually receiving is a report. The quality of the home inspection will be reflected in the report and each inspection company will provide a different report. Fees charged by Goshen Inspection Service are based on the size of the property being inspected. Prices start at $300. Payment is expected at time of inspection unless otherwise arranged. Tom did our inspection for our new house. He was very thorough and friendly. He talked us through any items he saw. The inspection took about 4 hours. The final report was ready the day of the inspection and was very detailed. It listed a summary of deficiencies and of possible maintenance items along with photos and notes for everything.

We are getting ready to buy our second home. We used Goshen with our first home and were thoroughly satisfied. They have incredibly reasonable prices, and offer a better inspection than other inspection companies I have interacted with. We are using them to inspect our second home also. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Had an awful experience with Thomas. We are trying to sell our home & he allowed or did it himself(according to buyer) to damage our ceiling. It's now been OVER a month and neither him nor the buyer are willing to fix it. Meanwhile we cannot show or sell our home. Strongly recommend you NOT USE HIS SERVICES!!

Had a great experience working with Thomas on a recent home purchase. The pricing from Goshen is right on par with other companies, but they have been in business for a long time and it shows.
We are purchasing from out of town which tends to make the entire process a little more stressful, but I feel comfortable knowing the inspection was done care and attention. The detailed report, to include pictures, walks even the most construction illiterate home buyer through the process. Clear and concise issues along with repair recommendations makes Goshen a no-brainer.
