Riverflow Yoga
I jumped into hot yoga at Riverflow almost two years ago, never having done it. I added Guru Hot Yoga and without a doubt, it pulled everything together. Doing yoga one-to-one made me feel safe to open up and focus without comparing my poses to others. Love the feeling I get: freedom, expansion, happiness.

By way I also experienced bliss on the Riverflow Yoga Blissful Warrior Renewal in Italy, and then went on to hot yoga teacher training at Riverflow! Our teachers will guide you to the Sweet Spots in each hot yoga pose and suddenly you feel like Gumby: strong, flexed, relaxed. Do hot yoga consistently and you'll experience the body you never knew you had but always wanted.
Services
I've spent a few decades punishing my body with workouts and travel, and a similar amount of time punishing the mind with government work. The last 8 years have been made immeasurably easier by Riverflow. Hot yoga keeps me moving and keeps me sane. I am busy - I split my time between Lambertville and New York and travel a lot for work.
The Blissful Warrior Yoga Renewal is a journey to reclaim a life you were meant to love. With yoga, meditation, adventures and surprises, you'll explore your inner landscape, in a land far from home. On a Blissful Renewal the real plan is to practice the art of letting go and allow things to unfold.
Riverflow Yoga Blissful Warrior Teacher Training is an experience that will teach you, transform you, and inspire you. Throughout Teacher Training you'll be supported by mentors and teachers in our yoga community. In my 45 years teaching yoga and training yoga teachers I've met thousands of students and the truth is, most people are magnificent.

I've practiced hot yoga all over the world and never had an experience quite as bad as this...I won't even waste time writing about the lack of facilities, but the owner, as you can see in the other reviews, is aggressive and rude. She may know how to market well in blogs and social media, but she is worse than the stereotype of a used car salesman. Went once, won't be back.

I initially wasn't going to review Riverflow since I haven't been there in over a year - but due to recent instances with them I feel the need to urge people to stay away from this studio. I went to Riverflow using a groupon I purchased and was rather indifferent about my experience there - it was a small studio with good instructors who were very attentive and accommodating to new students despite their abilities and experience. I've been to several other hot yoga studios that were much more professional looking and updated, but since there is a limited amount in this area I figured I'd go in

There is an overpowering smell of mold. I love the space, I love the teacher and the music but after a few sessions I had to cancel because the damp and the mold were making my sick. This yoga studio would be perfect if it could be located someplace other than a damp basement.

I had never experienced hot yoga before. 8 months ago I started with Riverflow on a Groupon. One of the best experiences of my life. It was challenging in the beginning but so rewarding. It complements Zumba exercise, giving me discipline, focus, amazing stretch for my body and clarity for my mind.

This best yoga studio in the area hands down. All the instructors are incredibly helpful, friendly, and really know their stuff. They do a great job with people of all ages and abilities. The environment is super cozy and relaxing. Whether you're going into yoga for the first time or are a seasoned veteran, this place will not disappoint! After three months of work here I was able to lose 20lbs and 10% body fat. For athletes like myself, there's just no better supliment to your training regiment than Riverflow yoga. From the start, you'll feel a huge boost in energy, new strength in your back and

I just completed my 5th class and commited to 6 more months here. I am a type 1 diabetic and recoving from a back surgery in October 2016. I have found here at the studio a very kind, compassionate, understanding and supportive staff. I have always felt welcome and comfortable. The small studio provides individual attention and instruction. I have done different types of yoga over the years but have never found a type or a place that makes me feel the way hot yoga does at Riverflow. Its true what they say, Hot yoga, cool people! I reccomend you give it a try, more then one time. If its for you

Groupon had a decent deal ($50 for 15 classes in a month) for this place, so I checked it out. I've practiced yoga for 7 years, and Bikram for 2. After my first class with Zac, I was ready to come back for more...despite the temperature of the room being around 85, not 105, and there being NO SHOWERS (uh, ew?).
I returned and had a class with the owner, Rhonda. She insists on sitting down with all new members to talk about goals. A great idea in theory, but in practice, she was an unpleasant teacher to have. Like other reviews said, she provided constant chatter during the session (which

Terrible customer service. Extremely disappointed. I heard good things and signed up due to a friend's referral. I bought a package deal. I drove 20 minutes out of the way to come here. Got lost and went to the wrong yoga studio and was then turned away for being 10 minutes late by the instructor. Not the way I want to be treated as a paying customer in search of positivity. I don't have a problem with a no lateness policy but as a first time student I expected to at least feel welcome. There are too many other yoga studio's in Lambertville for customers to be treated like this.

I have been coming here for two years as well as being a yogi for 15 and a Bikram lover for 4. It is not a fancy place with showers and private lockers. It's is a yoga studio. instructors over emphasize postures and safety so that the student is reminded of form over flexibility. When I attend some Bikram studios, I see many a type A person throwing themselves into poses without breathing or thinking or receiving a correction from the instructors. Few of the Bikram studios focus on breath or alignment the way that Riverflow does. And yes, you type A people, you will be corrected if your

I have practiced many forms of Yoga (including Bikram) over the years. I was in a bad car acccident a few years ago and am just now able to get back to practicing. I shared all of this information on my first (and last) visit to Riverflow. I came in by way of the great Groupon deal and couldn't wait to get started.

The woman who guided the session I attended was, in my opinion, forceful, not cognisant of my restrictions, and quite frankly, irritating. Mind you, there were only four people total in this class.

Yoga is a personal experience and Yogi's are meant to guide, not dictate

This studio is a bit hidden and you can easily pass it while driving. It's tucked behind a row of shops on the side of the road. The studio itself gives a peaceful, serene vibe. It's right by a river so you hear the sounds of the stream and birds chirping. This studio is little different in that there are heaters placed in the back and corner of the room, as opposed to a single switch that would warm the place up through vents. I've had two instructors and both were great. One gave more instruction than the other. The owner is very friendly and gladly accepted my Groupon even though

Riverflow Yoga is my East coast home base yoga studio. I recently moved to San Francisco and have yet to find a yoga studio out here that feels just as much like a second family as Riverflow did. I know that's probably difficult to believe, considering the ridiculous amount of yoga studios within the city of San Francisco--one of them has to click with me, right? Unfortunately, this is not so. I've been avidly attending different studios for the past four months and have yet to find one as welcoming or friendly as Riverflow. I miss the small classes, with personalized attention from the

Let me first preface this by saying that I am not very well educated in the practices of yoga.

This was my first attempt at hot yoga. Overall, I have to say I am not positive it is for me. I thought I would give it a shot since this studio is right around the corner from me, what could I have to lose?

The instructors seem to be very, very, very knowledgeable about the subject of yoga and all things related. They were helpful, firm and were quick to correct/assist. However, the instructor I worked with never stopped speaking, even when we were supposed to be reflecting/meditating.

The studio

I've tried other places and must say this one really agrees with me.
Great workout for the mind and soul.

Location: Plenty of parking, smaller studio but effective use of heaters, have experienced full classes but not to the extent of overbearing and distractingly full. The cozy studio is down to earth, inviting and I personally have a 25min drive through woods/fields to arrive at this studio perched atop the river - the drive settles me; almost a nice pre-cursor to the class.

Instruction: This is KEY. Without the eagle eye of the instructors who constanly walk around and adjust and provide

I have been practicing hot yoga for 10 years. I have been to 17 studios from Seattle to Key West and have yet to find a studio with "private changing areas". Are showers nice? Sure. Would a lavender soaked washcloth placed across my forehead after class impress? Absolutely. But what I really care about and what Riverflow provides is an environment that is close to perfect to practice hot yoga. The studio is small (I prefer cozy) but the mix of heat and humidity is spot on and enables me to go deeper into poses than I can at other studios. I cannot believe that anyone would criticize

I really wanted to like this location, I would like to try other teachers first before a full review. I tried my first class on Friday morning, lovely little studio but I had a hard time concentrating because the teacher talked way too much, he has a great energy but too many cues, I had a hard time keeping my balance, would like to have some quiet energy at times. I think he may be new to teaching, so his flow may get better with experience. Just some constructive criticism.
