DO NOT RENT HERE. They will charge you for every little flaw in the apartment after moving out for things defined as normal wear and tear both by Kansas law and the contract. In my 4 years of college as an undergrad living in various student apartments, I have never seen an apartment reject the law to such an outright degree. They are in complete denial of what can be legally charged and defined as damage. If they do charge you, it is honestly just easier to let it go to collections. They have been much easier to deal with and understanding of the situation. I am sure they will comment on this

DO NOT RENT HERE! My daughter rented for a summer internship. Every single intern that stayed at Aspen Heights was charged upwards of $273 PER PERSON for move-out fees such as trash removal. We were charged $25 per bag of trash. My daughter left behind a mattress pad and we are being charged $273. The leasing company claims they removed 14 bags of trash and they are claiming they have to paint the common room. Four girls were there for less than three months and they all worked full-time. How much damage could possibly be done? Aspen Heights is taking advantage of out-of-town students by overcharging

We LOVE Aspen Heights! It’s simply beautiful from the office/clubhouse to the pool to the apartments. The fitness room is one of my favorite amenities and of course the fact that the apartment is completely furnished, including a washer/dryer and living room furniture! The staff is the best! Everyone is so friendly & attentive. It is a great location for attending WSU & close to great restaurants & shopping. We HIGHLY recommend Aspen Heights!

I moved into Aspen Heights a few months ago and I love it here! I love how close the apartments are to the WSU campus because that way I get to walk to class when it's nice outside! :) Aspen is always so clean and maintenance is wonderful. I love the pool here, its so nice to sit by the pool with my friends and hangout. Sometimes Aspen puts on resident evens, and my favorite is the one where we get to roast s'mores by their firepits! It's so beautiful. I love the resident evens!!

My girlfriend didn’t even finalize the applications and they want her to move in and pay two months of rent! Get ready for a lawsuit! That is unethical and she never signed. They never told her about responding 48 hours! I’m blasting this all over social media! Scam and be warned guys!

All through winter, watching the buildings being built, and through the spring, we were concerned about them finishing on time. Sure enough, not done and ready for an August 1 move in, but hey, full month rent is still due, and you can move on the 15th. Four days before scheduled move in, an email saying that the building is still not done, and no communication about when it will be ready to move in. For your inconvenience here is $1000 in gift cards that you can apply toward rent and find somewhere else to live until your place is ready!
And hidden fees everywhere concerning renter’s insurance

These people are thieves. They’re so unprofessional and are only nice when you move-in. They charged about $1200 (almost the rent for two bedrooms)for move out, I’ve lived in different apartment complexes and the max they charge is cleaning fee or if the place is damaged (we cleaned the whole place before we moved out, even the ceiling fans like they asked) but they’re charging for “couch replacement” when there was absolutely nothing wrong with the couch and repainting the whole apartment, if you’re that desperate for money open a gofundme or something. Absolute joke.
How is this

My daughter loves it! Management and staff are kind, helpful, supportive and always get to her concerns quickly and efficiently. It is safely gated with a beautiful inside courtyard and pool. They offer different social events to help residents make friends and they are especially careful in placing roommates together who rent without having someone they know rent with them. As parents, we especially love the separate contracts for rent so our daughter is only responsible for her payment if her roommate is unable to pay. We are definitely loving her beautifully furnished apartment and she wants
