Managing a rental property can be difficult but it doesn't have to be. Rent Me Florida has a unique way of managing and leasing rental properties across the entire state of Florida all for a flat monthly fee. Rent Me Florida's comprehensive marketing plan gets your property seen by thousands of potential renters.
At Rent Me Florida the homeowner (lessor) will hold the tenant's security deposit in a Florida branch bank. The security deposit helps protect you from potential damage, eviction and vacancy costs. It is best practice to require one month's rent as a security deposit, however, there is no limit to what you can charge.
To rent a home through Rent Me Florida each applicant is required to fill out a rental application. Certain criteria must be met and the application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Please review the frequently asked questions prior to applying. The application process is mandatory for anyone who is applying to rent any property for 6 months + one day or longer.

If I could give this business 0 stars, I would. I lived at the Osceola Ave property for 2 years. My experience living here was okay - beautiful neighborhood, very old building, quiet tenants. However, I've had the ABSOLUTE WORST move-out experience with this company.
I was required to patch the walls for holes and repaint. Unfortunately, the Maintenance Guy (Martin) did not know the original color paint of my walls and neither did Rent Me Florida. I informed Beth, Customer Service Rep, of my predicament and asked for suggestions on what I should do about painting. With approval from Mary Hank

After renting from rent me florida the property manager for 3 years only ever having them fix the exhaust fan in the bathroom. And always having my rent on time or early they decided to keep my security deposit. This after I spent over 9 hours cleaning and patching your usual holes and painting. They claimed it wasn't clean enough and decided to charge me for damages that were done before I moved in that I marked down on my initial walk through. Then Mary Hanks decides to call me not to go over what they thought was justified but to complain that I'm talking poorly about them on Facebook.

When I called Rent Me Florida about renting a place in Englewood, they were very professional and efficient. The lady I spoke to on the phone was accommodating and answered all of my questions. Although I did not end up renting (for personal reasons I did not travel to Florida this year) I would go back to them in the future.

I have been using Rent Me Florida for about seven years, I have had no issues with the company, I do like Mary Hank's ability to get things done when needed. I like her mental toughness when she needs to be. I am reading the negative comments and find them to be terrible. Yeah I want Beth to ask a million questions about a possible renter, and if they don't like it too bad move on, they do that to protect the home owner. They manage the property, they don't do repairs, they call and send emails for repairs etc,. it is up to the home owner from that point on to get it done.

After speaking with Beth about looking at a house I decided to look elsewhere. I’ve never spoke with such a nosey person before even meeting them. I understand they want qualified people looking at the homes and not wasting their time, but asking questions like “what do you do, where do you live, and what’s your credit?” Over the phone is not professional. Ask those when I want to put in an application. Work on your people skills!

Well after being a stellar tenant and going way beyond what a tenant should do for free I was unpleasantly surprised. Not only did i fix and paint the place which looked like hell when i moved in and put blinds in the entire house for free put ceiling fan in at no cost . I was robbed of my security deposit. Horrible people.

Mary Hank and her team go above and beyond to assist, problem solve and genuinely care about their clientele.
They are extremely fair to the owners and the renters as well. I and my family feel that they are like family to us. They have looked after our rentals for numerous years.
They can handle a wide spectrum of properties from large and luxurious to smaller and quaint but yet handle it all with care and class.

I had the most unfortunate dealings with Jan Lee.
1. The day Jan signed up my 2/2 condo at Deep Creek Gardens, she was on time and very keen to find me snow birds.
2. From then on, nothing went right.
3. I had to remind her that the tenant fee was due as per contract.
4. There were more tenants as per contract.
5. She did not do a post inspection, hence not picking up damages caused.
6. The condo was filthy and NOT cleaned as per their website.
7. I took pictures at arrival after traveling 18 hours having to clean first. She accused me of using "old pictures". My condo was recently remodeled
