No, we lease to anyone who meets our qualifications but it is a student friendly property that rents per the bed. We do offer roommate matching. In the case that you have preferred roommates, we will do our very best to accommodate them living together in the same apartment, however, placement is never guaranteed.

Briana is a face seen quite often around the nook, sadly. She is unprofessional, not polite (other staff will be passive aggressive), and will blatantly cut you off regarding issues she feels she knows the answer too (she thinks she knows everything). Maintenance is reliable when you get a request in but if you don’t press them they don’t care for your situation. They moved me out of a great living space in a rush and gave me few days notice to move all my stuff with no valid reason. The apartment I was moved into wasn’t cleaned nor was the fan working. Kurt, the A/C repair tech on call, did a great job repairing our A/C! Thank you so much, Kurt! Also, Ian did a great job on our initial tour, with great customer service, he convinced us that The Nook was the place to sign! Ian has also been helpful since the tour, writing work orders for things that need to be done in our apartment.

It's not a land of brave and free right now but the staff seems resilient. Appreciated.
Update post a month or so now: the other roommates have left a large-scale mess that I can't be held responsible for. Please take the necessary action fast as requested already several times. Maintenance representatives must not enter without notice and lock you out either please. Thanks in advance for understanding.

Space is small. You pay for amenities and most are closed after 6pm. They could do much better with the million dollar investment of recent management. The washer sounds like gunshots. Have to wait another week before washing my clothing. Stay away!! At least the front desk people are nice!

I only lived here for 2 months during June and July of 2020.
The office staff in person was always pleasant and the manager, Jasmine, was the friendliest property manager I'd ever met. I felt heard and understood by her which led to my being a more honest and respectful tenant.
Prepare for some roaches. After some exterminators and plenty of Combat Killer traps, I only saw a few a week.
The maintenance team was always nice. I did not appreciate that they would occasionally show up unexpected.
All but 2 of the visits I got from staff or maintenance was unannounced. I am assuming that because

I’ll be moving next month after being at The Nook for a year, and I’m honestly going to miss it. Jasmine and the leasing consultants have been nothing short or helpful, attentive, courteous, personable and integral from Day 1. Jasmine’s leadership style as Property Manager is something to be modeled after, as it makes a difference in the experience residents have at The Nook. The team at The Nook are very responsive and often hold community events for the residents. Wish I could take them to my next city! No regrets signing here at all. I love the Nook! The apartment is great, maintenance is extremely fast and caring, and the office staff is exceptional! Feels like a family, I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to live. The complex has multiple bus lines that run by and isn't too far from campus. Not to mention the office has many events and give-aways that they host. Their social media accounts are always active posting great content. 10/10 recommend as a great place to live.
