Dr. Elizabeth Yeung-Farahi, OD (or Dr. Elizabeth for short) earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry where she graduated Cum Laude. She is a Therapeutic Optometrist, certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Texas Optometry Board and is an active member of the Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.

King and Rose Optical were professional and knowledgeable. In today’s day and age customer service has gone by the wayside, but not at King and Rose. I was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. To top it all off, my eyeglass order arrived quicker than expected. I am new to the area and I have been looking for an optometrist, looks like I have found one. Dr. Elizabeth and Roland were great to work with.

I had spent a long time searching for unique glasses that fit my face, and Roland was incredibly helpful in picking out frames and styling them. I spent an annoyingly long amount of time picking out glasses and Roland was with me every step of the way, and it only took so long because the collection they've put together is so amazing! If anyone is looking for fantastic frames, I highly recommend!

The staff were really wonderful about me coming in with a 2 yo in my lap for my entire exam and fitting. Everyone was masked and the store pristine, so it was clear that they are doing the most to keep customers safe during the pandemic. The staff were great about steering me towards frames that were great for my face and made selecting a new pair a breeze. I stumbled upon this gem looking for a provider with my insurance. My experience was more than top notch! I went for an eye exam and hadn't been in a few years since I've always had 20/20 vision. More recently, blue light has affected my eyes. Dr. Provost was so warm and welcoming - he was very thorough and informative in our appointment. He explained the process and even uncovered I had an astigmatism.

State of the art eye exam. Very distinctive frames. Highly curated. You won't find glasses everyone else has. You won't find a huge selection of frames that all look basically alike.
Roland had a tray of frames waiting for me after my exam, and offered great advice helping me narrow it down.

Working with Roland at King and Rose was a pleasure. Their selection of unique and classic frames was great. I wanted a new look for the sport glasses I had already and this was totally the place. They have some frames even made from recycled records and are totally cool. I was recommended this place from a friend and now will do the same.

I had a great experience with King & Rose. It was easy to book an appointment, they took their time and really talked to me about my vision issues (which are complicated) and curated a selection of glasses for me so I had the perfect pair waiting after I got my prescription. I picked them up today and this is literally the best I've seen with glasses on. I'll definitely be wearing glasses more often now. Highly recommend!

I ordered some unique glasses so I wanted an optical shop that was experienced in these kinds of frames and had good prices for high index lenses. I went ahead and started going to different optical shops for quotes.
One shop quoted me for a polycarbonate lens and their second lowest grade antireflective coating for $350.00. They did not sound confident in putting lenses on my frames as well.

Picture it - if you can see - concierge service for your eyeballs. It's the Kendra Scott of nerdy "blind" people. No one has ever cared more about how you look and how you see.
Friendly staff - has the right amount of suspenders to glasses ratio. The doc has great bedside banner and his breath doesn't smell so that's a plus! I mean...when your faces are that close it kinda matters. Amiright?

King and Rose is such a gem! I go somewhere else for eye exams, but I stopped in here yesterday to browse frames and am so glad I did. It's a gorgeous, upscale-feeling boutique, without the crazy price tags or snobbery of other high-end places. Roland, the manager, was there when I needed him but also let me browse on my own like I said I prefer to do. The frames are all very chic and unique-but-super-wearable, with a ton of great options for such a seemingly small space.
