We loved this company and will continue to use CVHI in the future. They saved us on a purchase that would have cost us lots of money. They were through, knowledgeable and spent many hours within the home. I would recommend this company to anyone. They responded quickly and had report done the same day. NO COMPLAINTS HERE.

Super nice man, but the quality of home inspections is not done properly. I purchased my home 3 years ago. My realtor recommended this company. Since I purchased my home, I have had to put a roof on my house, new water heater, new well pump, an HVAC system. I am currently remolding my bathroom only to discover my exhaust fan is not wired properly and is a fire hazard. In fact, my house needs to be rewired. My house should have never passed inspection but now it is to old to do anything about it. Word to the wise. Do NOT use the company!!

We used this company for a pre-purchase home inspection. The inspector, Mr. Laffon, had rave reviews about our potential house stating there was nothing wrong with it except a few minor nails on the roof that needed to be patched. He also stated all water pipes in the house had been replaced with PVC or CPVC. A year later and we have had issues with iron pipes under the house busting (not supposed to be any iron pipes), structural issues with the foundation that were quite blatant if one crawled into the crawl space, and now we are being told our roof needs to be replaced, not repaired. We also

Very pleased with their work. They were thorough, fast, and were able to explain all of their findings in an easily understandable way. Found some things that were not apparent to the previous owner, which was very helpful in our decision-making process. Price was also excellent for the information we got. Very nice people and will use them again in the future. Would highly recommend!

This company performed a home inspection for my buyer on 2/9/15. The inspector said there was a problem with the HVAC. I had no problems with it, but I consulted over the phone with my HVAC guy that I use, and he said it sounded like it was working correctly.
My buyer insisted I have it inspected and get a clean bill of health, based on this company's report, or he would not complete the sale. I had to pay my guy $65.00 to inspect the HVAC. He obviously found nothing wrong. The inspector almost cost me this sale. I emailed and asked to be reimbursed by this company for this needless expense. So
