Beyond disappointed and frustrated with Abbey Lane. After 5 years of being loyal tenants who always pay on time they are eager to make a quick buck off of us on our way out. Talk about the old bait and switch. Upon leaving they gave us a list of things that needed to be cleaned. I hired cleaners and had this place spotless! The pictures are taken at move out. In addition we were told my maintenance that we did not need to fill in the holes in the wall or a hole in the door that we only needed to seal the hole with a mesh lining and the maintenance guy would take care of it. Avoid Abbey Lane (and Dobler Management, like the plague. Too many ridiculous and awful experiences in our 4 years of living here to even begin to address. But I will try:
1. Yes, the office manager (Lyha) is awful. Rude, condescending, uncooperative, and a downright liar (and not a very good one at that). She will not enforce noise rules (or any rule) in regards to children screaming and shrieking all day, every day, travelling all over the property as if they own the place. She says that children are going to make noise. Yeah, they are, but noise rules either apply to all or to none. Here, the

We have lived here since around early September. Property is well maintained, people always clean up after their pets. Management has been very nice. Personally we haven't had any issues within the apartment, so we haven't had to deal with having fixes done other than the toilet had an issue (which was fixed right away). One thing to watch for is carpet separation. Upon move in, it was not noticeable at all. But after vacuuming once the seams started coming up in the places where a different sheet of carpet had been placed. Hopefully because this is on ongoing issue with many of the units

I wish I can give it a 0 Star. This place stink and dirty. The Garbage disposal is always full and the residents just throw their nasty trash outside the deposal. Then, the rodents comes at night and trash the dumpster even more. It will remain trashy for a couple of days until it's ready to get pickd up.

Surprised by the negative reviews. (Makes me wonder if they are real accounts) I have nothing but great things to say about the manager. She cares about the property and goes out of her way to keep everything up to code and looking nice. If we need anything fixed, it's completed quickly, with no hassle.
This complex is on high demand (had to wait for a unit to open up, they were completely full). Glad I did, it's been wonderful here. The landscaping is kept up beautifully. Great gym. Nice clean property. Definitely check them out!!

This place is awful. The manager here talks with you in a super bossy way. If you have any problems in the apartment, you call a thousand times and you will never reach them. Most importantly, even when you reach them, they will not help solve problems in the apartment, e.g., unclogging, window dysfunction. There are many trees around, very bad air flow; little sunshine can come in. I got really sick after living here for less than 6 months.

I have really liked living here these last 2 years. They keep the property really clean. I have lived at other properties before where it took days to get a work order done. But that hasn't been the case so far here. The Maint man always gets my work orders done right away. I also love their beautiful pool. The location is pretty great too and it's close to just about everywhere I like to shop.

I just moved into abbey lane, and so far everything has been nice an easy. No complications have aroused or anything like that. We had to move out of other previous place because my husband got a job transfer, and we wanted to live somewhere in between where I work (TJH) and my husbands job at the Bridgeport Starbucks. My other half and I liked the idea of having a fireplace, especially wood burning, so the 2 bedroom with 1 and 1/2 bathrooms was the layout we chose. We had a covered deck over at Maples, and we were looking for our new place to have one as well. With the hot weather approaching

As I read all of these reviews posted I have to really question the type of people they are. I have been living here a year and it is an amazing, clean, quiet, friendly community to be living in. Since day 1 the front office has been amazing. If I need something they are quick to take care of it. I feel safe living here with the gate that does work all the time. It's always kept clean. The gym is wonderful. I have no complaints and I am a tough person to impress. I loved it so much I renewed my lease.

If you love second hand smoke, loud cars out your bedroom window, trash compactors that are nearly always full and screaming kids outside your balcony abbey lane is for you! Also be ready for worn carpets with reappearing stains from previous tenants and parking at the other end of the complex while you unload your groceries. It's a great place...
