Love this place. I have lived here for a year and recently upgraded to one of the larger one bedroom units. My wife and I have had the best experience with Villaggio and recommend it to anyone looking to live in the downtown Tacoma area.
Pristine units and excellent property management. Helpful, proactive staff. Safe, secure parking.Close proximity to shops and services. All with a view. Highly recommend!!

I’ve lived here for about a year now, and have enjoyed every bit of it. Close to the freeways, Pacific Ave is just a couple of blocks away, plenty of places to grab a bite or drink (pre-COVID). I have a city view unit, and the view isn’t too bad, I get a peak at Mt Rainier when the skies are clear. The staff is great, very professional and helpful. Elevator did go down for a few days, but the repairs were quickly addressed.

This was one of the best decisions that I made while in Tacoma. The value is great in terms of what you pay. The staff is very professional, responsive and accommodating. They took care of everything I needed and made it easy to set-up my move-in while I was in Afghanistan. My apartment had everything that I needed and a bit more. The Kitchen was set up nicely and was spacious. The bathroom had more than enough room to do what you needed. I also appreciated patio. Relaxing out there with dinner was great during the summer of quarantine. The location is great! restaurants and great scenery was a

Excellent place to live! I moved from out of state and was glad to find the apartment looks exactly like the pictures and better. The staff are very responsive, professional, and polite. No hidden fees, everything is straightforward from start to finish. Bringing in a roommate and a new puppy was a breeze in this place. All my maintenance requests were completed within 24-48 hours. The location is perfect to walk to museums, restaurants, parks, and the docks. The Y next door waives introductory fees for Villagio residents. The view of commencement bay from the apartment was perfect. Full disclosure

I lived at the Villaggio Apartments in Tacoma, WA for approximately 5 years. This is a great place to live and experience downtown Tacoma. It is conveniently located close to the freeway, however, surprisingly quiet on the weekends. Also, this building is pet friendly and always clean. Any maintenance needed ( light bulb being out) was always quick, and Laura and Jordan are amazing to work with! I will miss the convenience and the friendly faces.

Absolutely love the management and environment of this beautiful apartment! Safety, cleanliness, and efficiency is priority for those working here. Living at the Villagio not only gives you high quality living spaces, but it provides you with beautiful views, proximity to the city, and such high spirited/ flexible management. It has been the most perfect first apartment experience you could ever ask for!

My experience living at the Villaggio apartments has been amazing! The rooms are great, filled with many modern and essential amenities. The building is full of fun spaces to hang out and relax. The staff has been accommodating and they treat you as a friend compared to just a number. The staff is especially good at creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all. I highly recommend the Villaggio!

The Villagio Apartments absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived at the office, I knew I could call this place home. The office staff, Laura & Jordan, are absolutely incredible (and that is an understatement.) They are extremely kind, courteous and spoil my little dog with treats and love just as much as I do! When I have the opportunity to talk to them when walking by, it honestly makes my day. The maintenance staff on site are just as awesome. They are quick to respond and being able to submit work orders online makes things super simple (not that I even have anything major

My husband and I have lived at the Villaggio for a few years now so have been here while the teams have changed over the years. Out of all of the various Villaggio staff we've worked with, the current team is by far the most amazing, hands down. Laura and her team do such an amazing job of making sure all the residents don't just feel like "renters" but actual people in a great community. My husband and I are both students so the two block commute from the apartments to UW Tacoma was what drew us to the apartments in the first place but the way we've been treated (specifically recently) is what

I rented a studio apartment here for 3 months while waiting to move into my house. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the kitchen was huge! There were two large closets with additional storage on the balcony. The view was great, neighbors were all friendly, and the management was always available when I needed them. Highly recommend.

Modern, compact, and nicely located (although a bit expensive). One of the best options if you're a University of Tacoma student (the campus is within a short walking distance). There are YMCA, a fancy hotel, convention center, and museums nearby as well. Staff was exceptional (strict with rules and paperwork, but helpful). There's a space on the rooftop where you can see the stunning Mt. Rainier (although it can be windy and cold at times). The studio was small but it was comfortable. Walls were somewhat thin (I can often hear music from the next room) but the kitchen was probably my favorite

Have lived here for 2 years and it's been great. The walls are very well insulated so I almost never hear any noise or neighbors. Front desk folks are always very helpful. Very dog friendly and I feel comfortable as a woman walking my dog right outside the building at night since it's a Main Street. Secure building and parking garage is great. Do wish the rooftop and dog area was open later (for late night potty breaks) but I get it's because it makes it loud for apartments below. Read one review about loud partying on rooftop and that door now locks at 9 so that doesn't seem

Although the staff are nice people, they serve a higher power-the management. Whatever deals they offer for move-in will be far outweighed by the expense of moving out. Expect month-to-month rates 50% higher than your lease if you don't sign for a another year. We were nickel and dime like crazy despite leaving the place pretty much move-in ready. Location is convenient, but vulnerable to some sketchy nonsense. For the price, you can probably do better elsewhere. If money is no object, try to live near the top of the building. But not too high, since roof noise is an issue, too.

An update: the single elevator in the building is unreliable. The elevator was out of service quite a bit due to rain (flooding at the bottom of the elevator shaft). I believe a pump has since been installed to prevent flooding, but regardless, on the day of my move out, the elevator wasn't working. I lived on the top floor, and it was one of the most stressful move-out experiences ever. I move a LOT, and it takes a lot to stress me out during move-out day. I was lucky to have amazing friends help me haul most of my stuff down the stairs. The staff was accommodating, even letting me leave

The apartment is located near the University of Washington-Tacoma. However, I found the apartment very disappointing. I was eaten by bugs every night as a result left the apartment. Management did very little to help me and took full advantage of me financially. I am a foreign student and had little resources to deal with them. I would NOT recommend this apartment to anyone.

I'm really disappointed. My first review on Yelp of my own home for the past two years. I decided to get a studio since I work so much and hardly home. The price was good since out of the apartments in the area, this place has NO amenities besides a dog pee area on the roof where you hear constant noise until 3-4am on Friday and Saturday nights from other tenants partying. After my first year, they raised my rent. I kindly asked since I'm the easy tenant who they never see and just pay rent online, however, due to the market, they have to raise it. Not willing to work with me. I was
