Lily Richeson is a certified personal trainer and owner of Pressing on Fitness. She believes that movement based routines and rituals can help heal. Lily creates supportive, non-judgmental relationships with her clients. She encourages others to practice love and compassion for themselves and their bodies, while simultaneously helping them achieve their goals.
Lily has been in the gym since adolescence, but not always for positive reasons. For years of her life she was impacted poor self-image surrounding weight and struggled with disordered eating. It wasn't until she first discovered the power of lifting weights for strength, and the ability of the bike to give you an escape, that exercise could be fun and rewarding in a variety of ways.

I found Pressing On Fitness through Instagram and it is fabulous! I initially worked with Clayne just wanting to get back to basics and reorient my body back to the gym after injuries I've had. We did that and so much more! Clayne not only helped me connect to my body, but also to my mind. The fears, lack of confidence, and questioning myself steadily washed away as I gained grit, built upon strengths, learned new abilities, worked on isolated movements and grounding exercises, and I had someone right there to push me through it or center me to sit with it, whatever was necessary. I highly recommend working with Clayne if you're new to strength training or need help working through an injury. From Day 1 I knew that he had my best interests at heart when building a program tailored to my goals, current fitness level, and injury history. I had two old injuries that held me back when training on my own, and Clayne tailored my training plan to overcome both injuries.

Clayne has helped me transform the way my body looks and feels. I arrived feeling weak and lacking energy. I needed help with my stalled weight loss progress. He helped me reach my goals and go beyond them. I feel strong and confident. My core is stable and I have great balance now. I feel great! He customized my plan to really target my needs and goals while checking in with me and how my body feels. He is knowledgeable about working with injuries and keeps me safe while working. Lily is the best! She’s an incredible trainer, a great teacher, and creates such a supportive and compassionate environment that really allows for a focus on growth.
I came to her with a combination of issues involving an incomplete recovery from a recent major injury, problems with an old injury, and a very inconsistent level of conditioning from years of bike riding. I am so grateful I turned to Lily and pressing on fitness to build strength and conditioning. I starting training at Pressing On Fitness to get active and feel stronger & address old injuries. Lily does a great job checking in and supporting you where you are at & how you are feeling in your body every session. I keep going back because I am sitting with better posture, feeling stronger hiking and lifting & because I always have a great time. Lily is an amazing trainer! She is super positive (none of those gruff trainer tactics) and focused on form and safety. We have been working out with her about 8 months and feel more way comfortable within our bodies. My husband is looking super ripped, and we look forward to spending time together at the gym. Best of all we are building strength and spending less time suffering from aches and pains that are so common with being sedentary office workers.

Lily is amazing! After getting engaged and feeling like my body and mind were NOT ready for the wedding steeplechase, I really wanted to find a trainer. Lily was a fantastic fit for both me and my fiancé - she helps us focus on our goals, stay motivated, and feel appropriately challenged! We always feel so incredibly confident after our sessions. My fiancé and I are so happy we found someone who is invested in our physical and mental wellness (and lets our pup join us at the gym!).

Lily is the best! I started going to Lily a few months ago and it has been such a positive experience. Lily is thoughtful and kind in the way she approachs training. She always looks for what is right for my body, and is always encouraging. I was always reluctant to go to gym and especially around lifting weights, Lily creates such a welcoming and supportive environment that I now look forward to going to the gym and I love lifting!

I started working with Lily after having been pretty stagnant for a few years. She helped me figure out some goals and a plan and we've been training together for a handful of months now. The results I'm seeing are amazing and she is the best personal trainer! She listens and guides and gives encouragement and tips and is so positive. I look forward to our sessions so much and am just so incredibly happy to get to spend time and work with someone so incredible. I truly believe that everyone, at any level of fitness, could benefit from training with Lily!
