My experience with the company has been the most horrible experience of my life. Right now I am dealing with rotents taking over my apartment. The leasing agent has stopped returning any emails (only 3-4 have been sent) or phone messages and neglected to tell me the maintenance manager I included in emails was no longer with the company. The exterminator was called again today to come out a 2nd time because I am still seeing rotents a week later. I'm a clean tenant, I'm quiet and always pay my rent ONTIME! and this is what I get. DO NOT RENT WITH SMARTLAND AT ALL , POOR MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE THIS APARTMENT IS INFESTED WITH RATS I SWITCHED TWO UNITS JUST TO DISCOVER RATS IN BOTH HALLWAYS , AS A RESIDENT I WAS TOWED OVER 3 TIMES , MANAGEMENT IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE ONCE I MOVED OUT I WAS CHARGED 1000 DOLLARS FOR “BLINDS FALLING “ WHICH I DISCUSSED WITH MAINTENANCE WHEN I LIVED THERE “stain in sink im not sure can be removed “ is what they. If I could rate this place a zero I would. I got my car towed from the place I lay my head everyday and pay rent for all because no one from the leasing office sent out my parking permit even after the guy said he would drop it off. I had to pay 175 to get my car out they said they would refund me but now they just went ghost now that I’m asking for my money back after the mess up was on THEIR end.
