Southgate Garden Apartments

This place is garbage! $10,000 rose bushes to make there $300 apartments look good. Rudest property management ever! Takes weeks to fix problems. Stay away!!!! Run!!!! All kinda OSHA violations!

We have absolutly loved living at Southgate Gardens! We love the small town feel of Thomasville but not too far of a drive to the big city of Greensboro. We feel very safe living here. The neighbors all look out for one another and everyone is very friendly. It’s also pretty quiet here at Southgate Gardens which is really nice. They allow animals which is a huge plus. Shortly before we moved in, the complex had TONS of rose bushes planted and they’re all very pretty and makes the place look great, the grounds are pretty well maintained as well. Everyone makes their front door area there own

Staying at southgate has been a great experience overall. My wife and I just moved in April 1st 2019. Caroline at the front desk was timely and attentive to our needs! It is the nicest and best priced place we have found in thomasville and it is close to everything! We have truly enjoyed our time at southgate!

I have lived here for a year and have been very happy here. I have a disabled daughter and Caroline, the manager here, has been wonderful with making Anna feel like a part of this commnity. I had foot surgery last summer and Caroline checked in regularly to make sure things were okay. The area around here is always quiet and calm. Maintenance requests are responded to as best as they can be. The grounds are kept tidy and no trash. I've lived in many complexes in several cities. This is one of the best I've found for the money.

Found out today that my negative review was taken down by management because I didn't write a positive review. I wouldn't be obligated to write a negative review of the problems had they been taken care of in the 1st place.
By NC law, when you move into an apartment and issues are found, they are suppose to be taken care of within 30 days. My apartment issues have not been taken care of in 13 months. People who are looking for a place to call home should be able to read both positive and negative reviews; not just the good ones. It is my constitutional right

Been living here alittle over a week now, my boyfriend and I, and we both love it. The 1 bedroom 1 bath is the perfect size and has a HUGE closet, which I love! Everyone keeps to themselves pretty much and it feels like home. Not to mention, Caroline at the front office was great at making this whole process easy and understandable for the both of us. She’s a very sweet woman and I appreciate her helping us both. I can’t wait to turn this into our home and make it our own!

Very happy with Southgate Gardens. I’ve lived here for around 4 months and I love it so far. It’s a very safe and quiet area. Close to everything - Walmart, restaurants, etc. Management is very helpful and attentive. Maintenance has been on top of any problems we’ve had. Parking is great and always spots available. There is a swimming pool, which I’m sure will be great come summer. Application process and moving in was very easy and stress free. I would highly recommend coming to Southgate if you are looking for your next place to call home.
