My fiance and I have lived at Ovaltine about 6 months and it was the best decision we have made in terms of living conditions. We bit the bullet and accepted a rate a bit above our target but it has been incredibly worth it. We chose a first level 1 bedroom in one of the complexes- not the actual factory building. We love the white trim, doors, and moulding. We love the squishy carpet. We love the neutral wall color though I believe they let you paint if you wanted to! Maintenance is prompt and friendly. I lived at Ovaltine Court Apartments for 2.5 years! My experience living there was great. Communication between management and tenants is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Anytime I needed a repair it was done promptly. The common areas are well kept. There is a nice pool, workout room and conference room. The complex offered monthly complimentary breakfasts, daily coffee and holiday parties. If you are thinking of renting at Ovaltine, you will be happy here!

I would not recommend moving to Ovaltine Court. The general manager is very rude and does not attend to any requests. It is not worth moving here and dealing with poor management. Save yourself the headache. I would highly recommend Elmhurst 255 Apartments instead. They treat their residents very well and have many fun activities planned as well as free gifts throughout the year.

A follow up to my previous review from 7 months ago. After going back in forth with Ovaltine management regarding a carpet stain that couldn’t be captured in a photo I was sent to collections for over $700. I had an attorney file some paperwork but DuPage has terrible renters rights unlike Cook county. It just recently hit my credit and dropped it by 100 points. Now I have to fight it with the Credit Bureaus. I don’t like predatory companies and I will continue not paying for their overhead. There are a lot of other community that are far better to rent at. Save yourself the head ache and steer

I've lived here for two years and what a great place it is! The apartment corridors are always clean, the grass is always cut, and the neighbors are very friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better place to live!
It is also in a great location around several bars, a walking/biking trail, and 10 minutes from Oakbrook mall. Shout out to the management team for always looking after the residents and the maintenance team for attending to our issues that sometimes occur.

I lived in the Ovaltine Court apartments for 2 years and my experience was great. I loved living in building 1200 because of the perfect view of the pond that beautifully showcased the seasons in the Midwest. (blooming spring, sunny summer, colorful fall and snowy winter!) I loved the convenience of having a washer dryer in my unit, the fitness center and pool close by, and being walking distance from so many great new places being built downtown Villa Park.

I lived at this terribly managed apartment complex for 2 years while we were looking for a house to purchase. Move to Ovaltine if you want more stress and to overpay for a place to live. My apartment had water damage twice (two 25+ year old water heaters failed), which ruined some of my belongings and disrupted my use of water. I also got to deal with a 2 foot hole in the ceiling that resulted from this event until they got around to fixing it. I was never provided compensation or even an apology. The unit had cracks in the ceiling and walls that grew in length within the first 6 months. They did

I lived in this apartment complex for 3 years. I left a subjective review before so I'll try to keep this objective.
Pros: friendly staff, one of the nicer apartments in the area, quiet neighborhood, location (close to highways and malls)
Cons: taking out trash was always a hassle and often times the area would be filled with trash bags which caused raccoons to come out at night, pricey rent, garage, hard to find parking at night, extra fee for a new parking sticker, wall noise (water pipes cause knocking noise, we had to move to a different unit because of this)

I lived at Ovaltine for two years and had a great experience. The location is great with access to the highways, Oak Brook Mall, grocery stores and basically every store you want within a 15 minute drive.
The maintenance and office staff are incredible! They are always very friendly and the maintenance requests are always completed very quickly (often rimes next day).

We absolutely loved living at Ovaltine Court! We lived in the lofts and the large windows/natural light, high ceilings, and new appliances & carpeting were just a few of our favorite things about the actual apartment. The trash chute, mail, and lobby being attached to the building was super convenient, especially in the winter not having to walk outside. And the staff is SO amazing! Robin was a huge help for us during our hectic move to a new state. And Natalia was very welcoming when moving in. Both made the process so smooth! The only downside was the pool being in the center and the pool noise

I lived at Ovaltine Court for three years. If my living circumstances had been different, I would have stayed much longer! We had wanted an apartment with in-unit laundry, dishwasher, central AC and pet-friendly. Ovaltine hit all the marks. The office staff has been wonderful (especially Robin and Natalia!) and maintenance was always timely. Having moved several times and rented for the last 14 years i must say my best experience by far has been with ovaltine court. They have been accommodating from moving units to short term and extended leasing and have always been fabulous about maintainence issues. They are timely with response, courteous, And the community is clean and quiet natured. There is always something going on from resident breakfasts to yoga and pool parties provided at no cost. I have greatly enjoyed living at Ovaltine for the last year and a half. I live in a loft apartment. I like the the room structure and the walk-in closet. All the staff members are really friendly and nice. I can always rely on them when I need help. The maintenance team is also great. They are very efficient at fixing problems. I like the newly renovated gym with new equipment and personalized TVs. The pool is also nice and a good place to cool off in the summer. Overall, this is definitely one of the best apartments I have lived in so far.

Best place around to live! The management and maintenance staff is outstanding. They are extremely responsive to your needs and know you by name. The facilities are very well kept and my apartment is very quiet. The fixtures are top notch and in excellent condition. There is plenty of parking right out front of my door and no shortage of spots in the visitor parking area. I live in a 'pet building' because I have a cat and can honestly say that most of the dog owners in the building are pretty respectful. The club house and amenities are way above average, a real plus. Highly recommend Ovaltine

My husband and I have been here for two years now and just resigned our lease. Our apartment is so cozy, but bigger than most one bedroom apartments. In our floor plan I love how spacious the bedroom and bathroom are. We got in at a time when rent wasn't extremely expensive (can't say what it is now). Every renewal it goes up about $50 for us which seems reasonable. I love the pool in the summer, just wish it was kept cleaner. The grounds are kept very clean and maintained. The staff is great to work with. As long as you're a good tenant and pay on time there shouldn't be problems

I recently moved from Ovaltine Court after two years of living there. Only reason was because my girlfriend and I bought a townhouse. Honestly loved living there. Great floor plans especially the lofts. The staff, especially Robin are caring, helpful and friendly. The maintenance people are excellent as well. Great complex and excellent facilities.
