I truly enjoyed my time at City View and it was bitter sweet when I ended up moving. I loved my apartment! There was so much space for a one bedroom unit! The amenities (community room, gym, pool, etc) were well kept and modern. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at City View. They were so friendly, polite, helpful, timely, understanding, and accommodating during my time at City View. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place in the Lombard area. It's also so close to a lot of great restaurants and stores.

After living here for several years, I can no longer recommend it.
Management will change very soon, rent will likely increase and it will become a construction zone (again). (I tried to post the link where I found it, but that's not an option. Google it - you'll see).
We have many units here that were never upgraded. The garage is like the Indy 500. My neighbor's cars have been hit twice and speed bumps do nothing to slow anyone down. Management takes no responsibility for cars hit, and there's no cameras to prove who did it.
Fire alarms go off quite frequently. 2am, 5am, in the middle of the

My boyfriend and I lived 13 months in this condominium, good area, good place, safe, beautiful and endless options around restaurants, parks, in front of the yorktown shopping center. I really loved Lombard, I loved City View ,we were moving out of state.
The only limitation is alarms that go off for no reason and are not taken seriously. the rest all good!

City view at the highlands is great if you enjoy being woken up to 4am faulty fire alarms every 3rd week of the month. I can’t possibly recommend this place to anyone as they consistently have the same issue of the fire alarms going off and have yet to fix it. The sad part is at this point if there ever actually were a fire 85% of the residents here would literally die due to nobody actually believing any of these are real. It’s bad enough that in the 10 months I’ve lived here I’ve woken up to 7 (8? I’ve lost track at this point) fire alarms going off, but what’s worse is they have

Cityview at the Highlands is a very nice place to live …so far. I’ve been here for less than two weeks. But I have had a few interactions with the maintenance workers and leasing office. They were both nice but they took a little bit longer than I would’ve liked. The emergency maintenance worker showed up about an hour after I called. Which, depending on the emergency, could be too long. Also, my shower was clogged for almost a week so I would’ve appreciated a quicker response time on that other than that I like the place so far.

Love living here. I've been here for a year and just renewed. Everything about the place is great. Pet friendly. Reasonable rent for how nice the apartments and facilities are (the renovated units which I believe is most of them now are beautiful). Covered parking!!!!!! Pet friendly. Awesome pool area that feels more private than the building nextdoor. Fun courtyard with fire pits. If anything ever breaks they fix it promptly and the maintenance staff is super polite and helpful (thanks for the AC help guys). In unit laundry. If I had to pick my favorite part of my apartment it's probably my kitchen

City View is such an amazing place to call home! There are so many perks to living here. The office team is attentive and always very helpful! Maintenance is extremely friendly and responds the same day. I love the parking garage convenience for guests and residents. You can grill on your balcony which is not always easy to find for apartments. The apartment layouts and styles are all nice and help you find something that fits your needs. Also, I love the amenities and weekly resident events!

My husband and I are new residents here at City View at the Highlands as of August 24th. We recently relocated to Lombard from Houston. The fact that this property markets itself as "premier" is laughable! We resided in a luxury resort style property in Houston and we were looking for something comparable and unfortunately we didn't get anything close to what we're accustomed to.
The Customer Service at this property is lackluster at best. Let's start with the application process. I received the video of the virtual tour on 7/7. We initiated the application process on 7/10. We received email confirmation

I am truly enjoying living here. I get the southern hospitality that I was missing. In addition to meeting new people here in the Midwest. My neighbors are friendly and it feels like a real community. My apartment is beautiful, quiet, and very cozy. It took me a couple of weeks to learn the building, but I think I finally got it.
