Avery On The Green

Our rent will have increased $600 in just on year since move in. Our apartment is just over 500 sq ft apartment plus garage (628 sq ft). The kitchen cabinets come unhinged, the refrigerator, toilet, and HVAC are so noisy and old. There are many sketchy types in the building and the walls are thin--so thin you can hear all the toilet flushing, showers, etc from neighbors, plus garages opening/closing. The neighborhood is in the pit of Chandler The building doesn't return calls. We do not recommend you move here. Add a ton of money to your anticipated rent spend if you decide to rent here. They

This property has the worst service and management team.
From recurrent ant and cricket issues to loud AC units and network (internet and phone) connectivity issues, I am exhausted begging them to find solutions. The maintenance guys come to the unit and argue that the AC noise level ( sounds like the bathroom vent) is normal. They get upset when I tell them to empty the crickets that accumulates in the closet light fixture. I have to step out of the apartment to make all phone calls because of low signal in the apt and I can't effectively work from home because of internet frequent interruptions

My husband and I lived here for a year. We only moved out due to moving cross country and still joke about how we wish we could pick up this apartment and plop it in our new city. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is because of the scorpion issues our unit had, even when sprayed the problem persisted. Also because of the structure of the apartments. We had the cops called on us four times for noise complaints that did not pertain to us. Every time they came we were either getting ready for bed, using head phones, and even once were out grocery shopping and came home to a cop at our door

Our manager Ana Eastin assisted me with a billing issue that required follow up with corporate. Ana kept me updated at every step and finally resolved my issue. I have confidence in Ms. Eastin and the rest of our Avery staff to get things done when needed. Thank you!

My husband and I have lived here for a few years and have great experiences! They do a great job of communicating with you and they didn’t ever try to up our lease like crazy as a re-occurring resident. We are moving to a home so did not renew our lease. We want to give a huge shoutout to the maintenance staff. There are a few main guys that have been there for the past few years and have always been so helpful. They even enjoy petting our doggo lol! The staff in office are great also!! Highly recommend

We’ve been residence of Avery for 4yrs and we absolutely love it here! The staff is very friendly, if anything was to come up that is needing repair the maintenance staff get it fixed very quickly. I would highly recommend Avery on the Green.

Avery on the Green is a great apartment complex and well managed. As a resident for several years, I have been impressed by the friendly and helpful nature of Mary and Shannon in particular. Also, the maintenance team is great; they are always quick and do the job the right the first time. The complex is well taken care of with pretty landscaping, very clean pools and super convenient workout room. The units are spacious and many come with attached garages. The location is awesome, with schools, groceries, hardware store and downtown Chandler all quick walks. I highly recommend this community to

Worst management company ever, and I even used to work for a property management company. They do not work with you at all, and upon the initial tour, I was even lied to about the property attributes. Beware before moving into this property! They are as corporate as they come, and will nickle and dime you for everything possible.
Additionally, the property has significant plumbing issues - the maintenance guys were constantly snaking pipes and shutting off the water. They blamed the constant back-up in the kitchen on the "neighbors." It was a recurring and pervasive problem.

Not a place I'd ever rent at again. Chronic plumbing problems and the fixes interrupted my work day for hours more than a dozen times. Upon initial tour, staff said upstairs units were carpeted. They are not! Wood floors upstairs are super loud. Beware before leasing.

Out of all the apartment complexes I have lived, this has by far been my favorite. It is extremely CLEAN the grounds are very well taken care of. I have been here about a year and I haven't seen a single bug of any kind the entire time. My place is spacious and bright. The location is so great (close to chandler mall, walking distance to grocery and food) and it's pretty quiet. The staff at the leasing office have always been super helpful and kind. This is a wonderful place to live, and we are very happy that they gave us a chance to be part of this community, everyone one here was more then friendly and very responsive to our needs, the maintenance crew was outstanding, and we have lived here since 2017, and we do not plan on moving at least for the next 10 years, i highly recommend this place if anyone wants to live in a high five star complex

Avery on the Green is a great location nice property sitting with a nice view of the golf course. Mary the Manager cares about the residents and definitely shares her great spirit and positive energy every time I come into the office. It’s been a joy living here and I look forward to years to come in this wonderful community.

This company doesn't believe in making decisions on the quality of the person or future resident. Their decision is based off of a third party computer program. Between my wife and I we make 4 time the rent amount and no evictions. But because we have lack of credit we can't move in. We have been in a situation where the place we have been living at is no longer livable and we are ready to move in. This shows that human contact or kindness is not present. When we looked at the apartment, we were given a map and directions to the unit. Was completely honest upfront about our credit and everything

I would NEVER recommend Avery on the Green, SOLELY FOR THE EXPERIENCE IVE HAD WITH THEIR LEASING OFFICE. THEY WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO DO ANYTHING.
I started the leasing process over two weeks ago, provided EVERYTHING they needed to process my information, verify my income.. you name it. They decide to let me know mid--morning of the day I selected you move in that I'm approved and my papers are ready for signing. How am I expected to move

I have been a resident here for almost a month and I have to say that I am blown away by the front office and the maintenance crew. There have been small things that needed to be repaired in the apartment, but the maintenance crew have been very responsive and show up at our apartment within a couple hours of submitting the maintenance request online. Super quick and super convenient. They're always incredibly nice and never make you feel like your annoying them. The front office is always very sweet whenever I go in with a question or trying to find a package. Super informative and helpful

My mom has been living in this complex for five years now and she loves it, we are both originally from Connecticut. I moved out here last year to finish my degree at ASU, and have been looking for an apartment for months. After looking at countless complexes within a 25 mile radius of ASU I still would rather live here. I couldn't find another apartment with the same amenities in a nice area for a comparable price. I was in a tough spot and I had to find living arrangements ASAP for myself and my two puppies. All of the staff were extremely helpful and expedited the process as fast as possible

Looking for your next apartment? Avery on the Green is the best place to live! I have been living here for about 4 years and it has really been a home. The property manager is AH-mazing and is really there to help in any way she can! The whole office team is honestly really good people, helping me go the extra mile for missing packages, even. They are SUPER PET FRIENDLY and right on a golf course, my dog and I have some really nice walks around the property, which is gated as well! I have had only good experiences and want people to know it's a great place to live!

So i lived here when it was the greens and it was an okay place back then, i recently tried to get back in here since i been looking for an apartment in chandler to rent, that being said, i was told that i didnt pass the credit check(with a score just under 700) even though i've been working full time at my job for the last 13 1/2 years, and had references, they still denied me, its not like i was buying a house or a background check for a gun. its too bad your standards are so high for a apartment building thats almost 20years old

Wish I could give zero stars. Worst management team ever, you have to pay for a single car port and they do not tell you that when looking to rent, extremely expensive and they don't even give you a day grace period for rent payments even on holidays when the office is closed and you can't make payments. This is an update to a previous review I posted. I was contacted by management about my concerns and complaints. Mary in the front office agreed I was over charged for cleaning upon leaving the apartment and I was issued a refund. My complaints in lack of service happened during the previous management and maintenance time period. Since Mary has been running things she has been very helpful and has responded quickly in resolving my concerns. The new maintenance team has also responded quickly in resolving any issues I had reported.

So i have been asking for months that management please aid in the creaking that is coming every time upstairs neighbors walk in their bedroom. Every time neighbor would walk and have "company" over at all hours of the night, the creaking was so loud, literally sounded like our ceiling was going to fall in! I wish yelp would allow me to post video. I have also sent management video proof. She even agreed it was unsettling. BEWARE of This Apartment Complex. Management does not care about anything but money. Little to no security. Cars broken into and little attention to what goes on the property. "Scott" no longer works there and pulled Bait and Switch on Lease Agreement promising to fix it and never did. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.

I fully recommend Avery on the Green apartments. I have lived here a short time and am extremely happy with my living situation. Scott at the front office has a great attitude and always friendly and helpful. My apartment is an amazing location. I have the pool nearby and the golf course view from my apartment. The apartment is renovated with new floors, counter tops, appliances, etc. There is beautiful green grass outside my front door for pets and trees all around. The parking is great on both sides with easy access to apartment. The pools and fitness are 24 hours. Apartment has an extra HUGE

We moved from Chino CA last July 2016. And our move was handled all over the phone. The only way we saw our new home was via internet.

Our apartment is just perfect. We have a great view of the golf course . It's nice and quite. Our pool has always been kept nice and clean.
The office staff is Awesome. Anytime I go in, I'm greeted with a smile. Scott and Katie are great. The have the best personal customer service. They are both an asset to Avery on the Greens.
The gentleman that work in the maintenance crew ate very pleasant and efficient.

I lived here couple years now and this is what I had to experience in the 3 years I've been here...

DRYER FIRE- to this day, no one knows what happened. I had to be out of my apartment for over a month. The sprinklers did not even go off when the laundry room filled with fire and smoke. Keep in mind, no one keeps maintenance logs in this apartment. I actually had the staff fight me on changing apartments and were insisting I stay in the same place. What a painful process that was.
