Services
We are here to help you connect to your highest Self, the one who only wants to Be, Love, and Evolve. We support your efforts to live with more intention and joy. Our community is truly a gift. By practicing together, we support and uplift one another. We know that a consistent yoga practice gradually opens our bodies, minds, and hearts, shedding the layers that obscure our essence.
The antidote to stress is relaxation. In restorative yoga, relaxing supported poses allow the body to rest deeply. The body is placed in comfortable, supported positions with gentle attention directed toward the breath. Yin Yoga is a practice of slowing down and tuning in. Long holds address the connective tissues and encourage the release of tension in the physical body.
The yogic philosophy has resonated with Kate since childhood, becoming an increasingly essential part of her life. Kate first studied yoga with the Sivananda Vedanta Society and later began to incorporate an eclectic mix of styles into her personal practice. After more than 20 years of consistent practice, Kate received her 200-hour teacher certification from the White Lotus Foundation.
Our students are very important to us! We are so happy you have decided to explore yoga's empowering physical, energetic and meditative practices at Abhyaasa and hope you will join our welcoming and supportive community. We are currently offering classes both online and in studio yoga classes for students of all levels.
New students are very important to us. At the end of the day, it's all about our community, and we want to give you a chance to be a part of it! We also know that consistency is key, so let's get you started with a new routine that can transform your life. If you are new to Abhyaasa Yoga, we have a special offer to get you started.

We found this place on Groupon. They didn't treat us differently for using a Groupon which I appreciate. Most of the classes are online right now given the pandemic.
The in person classes that I took we're all great I like that they do a variety of yoga styles. All the instructors were very friendly and the owner is very helpful and friendly.
I love the peace store attached it's very cute!
Definitely worth trying!

Oh Kate thank you for your reply but that was only one of our exchanges. You omitted the over 10 mile policy and we are beyond that in addition to the 30 day notice when you took the money and ran. You policy is to let people out of the contract if over TEN miles. We are.
My thank you I understand was my not arguing with you as it was clear you were not going to honor your mileage policy nor the 30 days. Instead I chose to inform others that are looking at your studio who are not local. You got quite a bit of money from me in a short period of time so I'm sure it worked out for you.

The studio, teachers, staff, and store are amazing. After a few sessions, my wife and I were motivated to select a membership option and we have not been disappointed in the least. My only regret is that we did not find this studio sooner. It is clear that the owner, Kate, is building more than a business but a community.

I've always enjoyed yoga practise and I've found that I need two things in order to truly be immersed in it.
An inviting location, and a warm, patient instructor.
In full disclosure, I have only attended aerial yoga at Abhyaasa. It was my first time trying aerial, and after a couple of classes, I found myself purchasing silks to continue the practise at home.
Most mornings, the light would shine in the windows of the large room, nearly tuning out the ridiculous construction across the street, and I would try to grab a particular spot, like a cat trying to sun itself. Each session would

After much research on Yelp, Google and all of the Naperville-area yoga studio websites, I decided to give Abhyaasa a try. So many yoga studios today are exclusivley hot yoga or bikram yoga, as that is the trend, but not what I was looking for. I signed up for the 6-class Yoga Basics package to start out. I have been practicing yoga on and off for 10 years, so I wouldn't call myself a beginner, however the Yoga Basics class is suited for all levels and many variations are given for all skill levels. Karen the teacher is wonderful.
I have also joined another class taught by Rachel, which

I have been practicing yoga since 2006 and was happy to find this little gem in the heart of Downtown Naperville. The space in general is heavenly, colored in light purple hues with windows that reveal either sunshine, rain or light snow that looks majestic when practicing. I have received lessons from a number of teachers and can truly say this is not a typical, marketing driven yoga studio. It is one of the few studios I have ever been to, in the Western Suburbs, that gets to the heart of yoga - beyond the practice on the mat. It has helped me become flexible and strong mentally, physically,

I had the 1st class today with the yoga instructor -Kate.
Positives-
Small group ( we were about 8 ) ; the instructor was one & one with me a few times...correcting the pose if needed.
Long 1.5 hour sessions - value for money
The instructor asked the group if anyone had injuries/issues etc that needed attentions- so kinda personalized.
Negatives
The practice was not very engaging ( sometimes too slow , sometimes too fast)
I would defintely go back again .
