We recommend staying in the hot room the entire class, this helps get you acclimated to the heat. Take a break when you feel you need to, stay on your mat, take a few breathes, and try it again. Practice the postures to the best of your ability by following the instructor's guidance, slow & steady, is more effective.
This is based on the traditional hot yoga and consists of 26 fundamental yoga postures from Bishnu Ghosh's yoga lineage. The Original Hot Yoga (aka Bikram Yoga) is a 90 minute Beginner's Yoga Class. I purchased an unlimited two week pass and have had a wonderful experience. I haven’t done yoga in 6 years, plenty of weight gain and inactivity in that time left me feeling not so good about myself. I felt only kindness and encouragement here, very welcomed and supported. I’m happy to have found it and would recommend to any one !

Carol and her team are great at teaching such an amazing style of yoga, the Pilates class is also next level, and if you’re looking for something slower the Yin class will bring you to a level of peace you didn’t know was possible. I’ve only been going for one week and the amount of positive changes happening for me are worth the price! Can’t wait to continue with this practice, at hellah hot Aurora.

After 13 months of pandemic break, I came back and to no surprise Carol and Rachel continue to excel. Cleanliness, professionalism, fun, and great Bikram Yoga continue to be in abundance at Hella!! If you have not come back, I urge you to come back. You will be quite surprised on how much you and your body missed it. If you have not tried this style of yoga, I highly recommend you give it a try. Great instructional and welcoming staff, in a fun and clean environment.

I can’t say enough great things about this studio! The 6am 60 minute yoga classes fit perfectly into my schedule and give me a great start to my day! I love the evening 90 minute hot yoga classes and am excited to try hot Pilates! The studio is super clean and doesn’t have a smell like a lot of studios get after a hot sweaty session which means they have a good ventilation system! The instructors are all super helpful and nice and everyone is friendly. I love the challenge and how I feel after hot yoga. I have 4 herniated discs in my back and am a mom of four, the heat really helps me dig deeper

Very cean facility.
It is an amazing cleanse.
A year and a half after a major knee surgery, a nationally renowned knee specialist in Chicago told me it was apparent that I would never get full flexibility back. Six months at Bikram and I had all flexibility. Incredible instructors here provide patient, encouraging instruction as they guide you through your practice.

Tori was great and very welcoming. She made my first day there pleasant and easy. The class was great, everything was clean... the bathrooms and hot room - nothing smelled funky in any way. In fact, it smelled nice! Someone asked about bikram yoga on Facebook today and I recommended Bikram Aurora! I'll be back hopefully very soon. (Once this soreness goes away) ;)

I was nervous.... Having gone through 90X Yoga in the past, I couldn't imagine doing that type of yoga in 105 degree heat and 40% humidity. Thankfully after looking at the website I saw the class was 26 poses and at a beginner level. I signed up and arrived to see a very clean and tranquil environment with room to store a bag of your things in the bathroom which was also very clean and I felt right at home. After checking in at the front desk and stowing my gear in a cubby in the mens room I walked into the yoga studio and thought ok here we go! I quietly joined the others who had laid out

Staff seems friendly and positive, and made me feel welcome since Im new to Bikram. No issues with the facility as it seems clean and functional. As an overweight guy, the classes are hell - but I'm looking forward to improving my health and technique. From what I can see, the class is composed of a wide range of shapes and skill levels. So, I didnt feel out of place on my first visit, either. Make sure you are drink plenty of water before, during, and after class.

This place is great, very clean and the staff is friendly. When I first started doing yoga here, it was my first time ever doing yoga and I never felt insecure or out of place because they make you feel comfortable and welcome.
I have a lot of back pain and going to Bikram yoga classes 2-4 times a weeks made a HUGE difference in alleviating my back pain, gaining much flexibility, and learning how to clear my mind and meditate.
The only reason I stopped going is because unfortunately, I was getting really bad migraines the last couple times I went, and I think this was due to the heat. If it weren

I've taken a total of 17 classes at BYA. It has all the "must haves" of a great Bikram studio; perfect combination of heat and humidity, knowledgeable teachers who deliver the Bikram dialogue with proficiency and conviction, a growing, solid yoga community, and yes, the joint is very clean as well as classy.
Yoga is all about breath. It fills the room as you practice and whether you're a having a tough or an average day, somehow you walk out a little lighter in thought and heart.
It's reassuring to see how the instructors care about the breath of their students, both

I have been taking class at this studio since it opened in 2013. Bottom line is it is a terrific facility. The studio is very clean. Heat and humidity are consistent. Teachers are knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. I have practiced on different surfaces, and I really like the flooring here (no stinky carpet).
If you are a beginner or experienced yogi you will enjoy practicing here. I travel and have practiced at many yoga studios - I would rank Bikram Aurora right at the top.

Nice yoga studio! The facility is so clean. It is nice to see a bikram with the vinyl floors that can be properly mopped up after class.
The instructors here are very friendly. They remembered my name even on my first class!! I teach yoga and I always struggle to remember my students names and call them out during class while they need adjustments or have great alignment. These guys really pay attention to details. :)
My hats off to bikram aurora!! It is very challenging, but amazing for the body and mind!

I can't say enough good things about this studio. First of all, it's kept very clean and the entire staff is encouraging and friendly. As a beginner I was nervous because I wasn't sure what to expect. The overall atmosphere is very supportive. Bikram Yoga is not easy, but I'm 53 and it has really helped my flexibility and overall health. I feel great!! There are several instructors here and every one of them is fantastic. Highly recommended!!

I had my first class there yesterday. I was surprised at how nice the studio was and no smelly carpet!! I wish there were lines on the floor so everyone would know where to put their mat and stand. I was also surprised one student left and came back half way though and another student had her keys and wallet with her. Durning triangle you go sideways on the mats and look at the side mirrors which I couldn't see because I'm pretty short, I'll have to move to the sides next time. A little distracting but I loved the studio and it's closer then the other one I usually go to. Excited

I LOVE this place! I grew up in the Aurora area and was back in town for a couple weeks for family events. I was happy to find a nearby facility to continue my practice. The owner Carol has created a lovely, new studio with instructors that are encouraging and helpful. It's a very friendly atmosphere. I took classes lead by Carol, Tori, Diane, Silver and Indre (spelling?) . Each one had his/her own style but all were great.
I highly recommend this studio to anyone that practices Bikram Yoga or is interested in trying it. The practice room is quite large so there should no problems with

When I first walked in I was greeted by a warm and friendly Carol, who is the owner. I had done hot yoga before but not Bikram, specifically. I was a bit intimidated but Carol walked me through the details and I was ready to go. Upon entering the women's locker room, I was pleased that the facility had showers and was very clean. My only disappointment here was that they did not have lockers, only cubbies to place your belongings. Carol had mentioned, however, that the doors are locked as soon as class starts (you MUST be on time!!). When I entered the yoga room the heat hit me like a ton
