My sister and I have been living at Bees Ferry Apartment Homes in beautiful Charleston,SC. The property is amazing and the staff is very professional and there when you need them. The residents are carefully reviewed in the leasing process. We have decided to live our retirement years right where we are today. From the moment I drove into the Bees Ferry Apartments compound it was an inviting and pleasant experience with the freshly cut grass and beautiful landscape. It did not only end on the exterior, but also continued into the leasing office where the entire staff is amazing. There is where I met my leasing agent Laura Baldina. I rarely leave reviews but I just had to leave one! I love this apt community. The leasing team is amazing, they helped my husband so much when looking for a place with a storage. In the past we have lived in gated communities, but with this place you still feel safe without a gate. The Maintenance team is amazing and always helpful. They always respond to requests in less than 24hrs! Apts spacious and have a lovely southern feel!

I've lived at Bees Ferry Apartments for 3 years and just signed another lease moving to a smaller floor plan. I can't say enough wonderful things about the professionalism of the staff especially Drew, Ellen and Laura! Our apartment life team, Matt and Nicole arrange such fun community events which we look forward to every month! Maintenance is the best staff of anywhere I've lived. Very dog friendly and clean.

I was in a pinch when I found Bees Ferry apartments, and they were more than helpful. They got me into an apartment in less than two days. The staff makes sure they get to know their residents and the event planning team have put together awesome community events. Anytime I need something repaired (which has only been one thing) the repair crew has responded within one day. The community provides a positive atmosphere , and that is a reflection of how well the apartments are taken care of. Seriously love these apartments!

My husband and I have been living at Bees Ferry for about 6 years now and we are very happy here. The apartments are spacious and nice. The pool is awesome and we also love the gym and spin/yoga studio. Everyone in the office is super friendly and the manager, Drew, always goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy with everything on the property. The maintenance staff is great as well. We rarely have maintenance issues but if something needs to be fixed they are quick and attentive. I saw a review on here recently about roaches and I can tell you that has never been an issue for us here.

Bees Ferry is such a great, affordable and fun place to live. I especially love how the gym is opened 24/7 and actually contains a squat rack. The apartment activities team is also the best and puts on the most fun events every month. When I post the events to social media, I’m always inundated with messages asking where I am and what I’m doing 😆

This place is a scam my rent is a different price every month know one in the office has the same answers or don't respond don't ever move here I have never had more problems anywhere I lived I'm 52 there is nothing they told me on the many phone calls and being on internet that is true save yourself a lot of unnecessary aggravation!!!!! I have been staying here for 10 months now. I am not someone who writes review but now I feel it's high time to guide someone who might be planning to lease this apartment. Warning please don't! First when I moved I was handed over with dirty uncleaned apartment. Than when I tried to point it out all the management team had their hands off this situation, forgiven! Later for nearly 4-5 months my water outlet from refrigerator was not working with frozen pipe issue, had to buy water from store. Finally it was repaired so I am thankful after 5 months! I read some of the negative reviews and wanted to set the record straight. The management changed from Greystar to FCA over a year ago and since then, the rules have finally started to be enforced. Now we are seeing positive changes as far as the parking, all amenities working, the staff is friendly and actually competent now. I am so thankful for this change because it has pushed out a lot of the bad apples and now Bees Ferry is back to the quaint, beautiful community I've always known it to be.

I moved into Bees Ferry in June of 2018 and my experience has been up and down. Diane was the Property Manager at the time and she was great, but my whole entire experience relocating to Charleston from Michigan was a mess to be honest. The office never answered the phone and they never were able to answer my questions. When I finally moved in on June 1st, there was a new Manager named Jennifer. From what I have gathered thus far and based on personal interactions, Jennifer really is not a people person. She does follow-up, but is not very friendly. I've been living here since August 2018 and it's been hell since I moved in. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU LIVE ON THE 3rd floor. I have been complaining since I moved in about the noise that's coming from the unit above me all times of the night and nothing has been done although they are in violation of the noise ordinance. The floors are paper thin and they do not tell you anything about it before you move in. The property manager Jennifer told me to record the noise on my phone which is nearly impossible and if I could capture the noise I could move to another unit. She should

When I first moved in, Greystar was managing this apartment complex. They did a great job. After new management took over, the place went down hill fast. The grounds are in terrible condition - debris everywhere. Plants are dead and need to be removed or trimmed.
The appliances in the apartment are terrible.
Management isn't responsive and neither is service.
My personal opinion is that I won't recommend this apartment complex to anyone ever.
