Really enjoyed our 14 months at church park. I’ve lived in many apartments, but I felt like the staff and front desk here were always wonderful. During COVID, they went above and beyond to try to serve their residents by creating an in building office space. Maintenance issues were taken care of quickly. The location is great! Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

I've found Church Park to be the finest building I've ever lived in. I'm 84 years old, and being surrounded by a preponderance of warm, courteous, charming young people among residents and staff makes me feel young again, as does the wonderfully efficient and helpful staff, from Management to carpet-cleaners. I have become close friends with several of the older people, as well, who are equally warm and supportive. My apartment is wonderfully spacious, with beautiful views and elegantly useful appointments.

I have been very happy with the doormen and staff in general. They really make it feel like home. I'm also very thankful for the people who make the sending and receiving of packages so easy for us. What I enjoy most about living at Church Park is the convenience. the grocery store, post office, drug store, and hardware store are all right there and in the dead of winter that is really important to us. Also, not having to fix things ourselves and being able to put in a work order online has been great.

When one starts looking for a Boston apartment, the eye is immediately drawn to the many "bright shiny objects', the myriad of new super hi-rise apartment buildings that have gone vertical in the past few years. Not for me. With over three decades of site selection experience in commercial real estate, i go by the tried and true adage, "location, location, location". I can say without any hesitation that Church Park is a 100% location.

This is not a safe place. A homeless person was able to chase me and my infant son today and enter the building. Thankfully, the concierges helped and made him leave but he should not have been able to enter in the first place...!!! This means that if the concierge is not on his desk (which happens from time to time), random people might be able to enter the building. I personally no longer feel safe here. The apartments are OK (pretty old). The only good part about the building are the people - everyone is very nice and friendly. But that's not enough!

I can't say enough good things about living at Church Park, and I think I speak for the vast majority of residents who adore their experience in the building. The units and views are beautiful, the roof deck is unparalleled, and the staff (especially doormen) make the place feel like home. Each and every service request has been taken care of within 12 hours (it's honestly like magic!!). The building is always spotless, and the staff are incredibly thoughtful-- organizing resident events, sharing free ticket offers for symphony and more. I wholeheartedly recommend the building to anyone

Pros: Location is amazing! Orange line and 2 green lines within 10 mins walking distance. Whole foods is within 1-3 mins walk depending on which building you are on. Amazing views if you are willing to pay the pricier, Mass-ave facing units, but the other side's view is not bad either.
Concierges are very helpful and nice, and they know each residents after awhile.
The best thing about this apartment is the roof deck! It is indeed sweet with amazing views, grills, classic style lounge and fireplace!
Cons: Pretty old building, don't expect automated thermostat

Depending on what you are after as a living place I would say. Church Park does have a very helpful team to help you in almost anything - from doormen to gym (you need to pay extra), to roof deck, or even to maintenance.
Despite there is a convenient factor there -- close to shops and T stations , if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep, I would recommend you to think twice. Located right on the main road to Boston Medical center, random sirens happen often through the night.. I am talking about through the night -- there have been nights I was not able to sleep till around 3:30am when

WARNING: ASBESTOS in ceiling! Be forewarned, the apartments in this building contain popcorn ceilings and mine was confirmed by a licensed asbestos contractor and laboratory to contain asbestos. Worse still, the ceiling was very old and in poor condition. Every apartment I have ever seen in this building (and the leasing office) have the same type of ceiling.

Of course, being an apartment building with doormen, a gym, and a sweet roof deck, you certainly pay the price. BUT, now that I am living in a normal building with a crotchety landlord I know for sure that the service at Church Park is amazing.
For example: one time, our dishwasher wasn't working. So the management office sent someone to look at it and he simply got us a new one. In less than 12 hours. And we didn't even have to be there to let him in because he was an employee of the apartment building.
