I live in this apartment complex for +2 years and it has a nice environment. However, this apartment complex provides the weakest support for their residents during the pandemic. Actually, they closed the front desk for weeks and after they reopened, they did not accept any packages for the residents. They said it is because of the pandemic. It is nice that they care about their employees, but what about the residents? If residents have any packages from USPS, they should go to the USPS store, because the mailboxes are so small and for whatever reason, USPS also does not leave packages on resident

If you consider this place because it looks pretty, keep in mind the things they show you are out of order most of the time. The pool, although looks pretty, is always "closed for maintenance." The gym equipment does not work. They deliberately will NOT put "out of order" signs on the treadmills so the future residents are lured in under the false pretenses. Our AC has been out of order since we moved in last year. It needed to be replaced years ago but they will patch it up just enough to get it running until it goes out again days later. We can't open the windows either because the latches are

I am a current resident at The Wescott Apartments. I moved in March of 2021 and immediately noticed a spike in my utility bill. I called a City Auditor after 2 months of excessive utility bills and he found that the apartment had a water leak. After the problem was resolved by maintaince I incured an overage of $534 in utility bills over a four month span. The only credit I was issued was for $232 from the complex. The manager Bridgette stated that, that was the only credit I am allowed to recieve because the water leak is " no one's fault. " Well it's certainly not mine because I am not a homeowner

I was denied access to my apartment for nearly the first week of my lease term because “maintenance was still working on it”. Then when I finally get to do my first walkthrough on day 6 of my lease and there were major problems with appliances and air conditioning. There are stains and damage all over the counters, walls, trim and appliances. There was still waste from the previous tenant still onsite when I arrived. The maintenance of this place is really poor. We had a list of things that needed fixing from the time we moved in and over a year later still waiting for either some parts or for the maintenance worker to get done for "urgent" stuff. There is always an excuse of why they won't fix it. For example, the toilet tank is broken in one of the bathrooms so you can't flush the toilet. According to the front office "it is not urgent and you can use the other bathroom or just reach down into the tank and flush it by pulling the flapper." This place is not cheap either. Lived here for over a year. Nice area, but if you have any maintenance issues good luck getting anyone to come out. Takes months. I didn't have a washer for almost 3 months because no one would come out and now i've had a leak for nearly a week. They don't pay the water bill either so lets see how much this is gonna end up costing me. They'll also mark the maintenance requests as being completed, but don't show up for weeks to months on end

I lived in this complex for 2.5 years and was very happy with the staff and quality of the apartments. Ana and Gil were very helpful with our move-in process for the different apartments we lived in, and we were very happy with the state employee discounts. The maintenance staff are also wonderful and super responsive, which is very hard to find in Tallahassee. Great location and a relatively quiet neighborhood. I always felt safe here. I wish I could have continued living here, unfortunately the 1/1 was out of range for me. I will definitely be recommending this complex to friends in the future

I lived at the Westcottt before, during and after the renovations, which turned out beautiful! There was always activities for the children and on occasion the "big" kids too (; Whether a community pool party, BBQ, potluck or a movie under the stars..The staff and management were always very polite and treated us all like one big family community.

I do not like is: There's a lot of dogs and their owners sometimes do not pick up the pet waste. That's one rule that need to be strictly enforced. Ms. Ana the Assistant manager is extremely nice and she made the move-in process very smooth. Oh one last thing, if your package is too big and it comes through USPS, they will take it back to the Post Office which is an inconvenience for the customer. The office no longer accepts packages.

First apartment I rented in over 30 years and so happy to be out. There were weeks that I didn't have air conditioning. They acted as if I was asking for the moon. I was told that I would have certain things in the apartment when I moved in and several things were not there and they acted as if I was mental. I only lived here for a few months and had to relocate for a job offer. However, during my stay here it was an amazing experience. The staff service was always welcoming and friendly. Maintenance always responded to issues and the ones I had were very minor. I loved the layout of my apartment and it was very spacious. The community is quiet and very homy. I highly recommend living here.

I am a single mother of one who has lived in the Westcott community for over 5 years. Although my interactions with management have been few, every time I do need to present an issue or concern to the manager I am met with a condescending, demeaning, rude, and insulting attitude. She (the manager) could care less about the residents in this… community. I was shocked and appalled at how she addressed me on yesterday following a very serious incident where my safety was compromised the day prior on 4/25/18. Never move the reserves... The rates are too high for what you pay for and you will be constantly be harassed. The hot tubs never work and the pool monitors harass you ever summer. The maintenance is never in time and you will constantly have to ask for repairs to be done. There is not enough parking for the apartments. Not a very welcoming community. On a scale from 1-10 it weighs in at a -6
