No matter your age, shape or flexibility you can do yoga!

I'm so glad I found this yoga studio. It's close to my home, very clean and the instructors are the best. Everyone is very welcoming. They have many different class options and times. They also offer different package options.

Don't be scared to try yoga, it's like a deep stretch for your body.

Any questions you may have the instructor will answer and no one judges. Everyone is on their own journey. That's what I love about yoga!

Truly amazing instructors! Each one has their own unique style that I really enjoy. They have several different types of yoga offered here, including one geared towards "desk warriors". I went here after having many knots and spasms in my foot from running too much. Mindful Motion helped ease my muscles while also building them. Cheaper than all other studios that I looked into. They also offer a lot of useful supplies for free (mat, face towels, mat towels, blocks, blankets, knee pads, etc.). I've only been going here for a month now and I'm already hooked.

Traveled to Jacksonville for work and looked on Yelp for a place to do yoga. I ended up here and am so glad that I went! I took advantage of the 30 days for $30 bc it made the most sense. One drop in class is $15. I participated in the gentle yoga, level 1, and level 2 yoga classes. All of them were great!! Brittany was one of my favorites, I went to 2 of her Thursday classes and left feeling relaxed and more knowledgeable. If I ever return to Jacksonville, I will def come back to Mindfulness Motion.

Actually called three times (with no answer or returned phone call about my inquiry) before dropping by the studio to check it out for a first time yogi experience as a gift for mother’s day. The sign was on stating “OPEN” however the doors were locked and no one inside. Called shortly afterwards no return call after leaving a voicemail. Again if you’re looking for a memorable experience to clear your mind of clutter and de stress ...continue following Beach Blvd to the Jacksonville and Neptune beaches area...after all its free of charge and you can sit and meditate as long as you want

I've been coming for about a year and let's just say I'm not the typical Yogi.. I'm plus size. It's taking me here and I still cancelled a downward dog more than a minute or two but I do come and I do what I can. I primarily come for Molly and Me and yoga when my mind says no Molly makes my body say yes. But I wanted to give up cuz I wasn't seeing progress she has a quiet way checked in. I mean ever be able to do what other jokes do I mean ever Advance out of beginner level classes but it's okay. I was getting steroid shots every 3 months in my back and I don

I have purchased the introductory deal - 30 days unlimited for $30 and took level II classes with Terri (I can't speak for other classes). Terri is an amazing teacher with years of experience. You can trust her completely, she isn't a newbie who just finished their 200 hr teacher training in 3 weeks in Costa Rica The word "mindful" in the name of the studio isn't just there because it's another one of the "yoga words". Her classes are probably the most mindful I have done at any studio in Jacksonville, and I have taken classes at quite a few studios. The

I've been here once but I fell in love with the place on my first visit.

Jax is an amazing teacher, the place has a very calming effect and it is everything that I want in a Yoga facility. Too bad I don't live close otherwise I'd be here everyday or every other day at least.

Mindful Motion Yoga is different that any other yoga studio I've been to. If you are looking for a trendy, hip, athletic style studio then you maybe or may not love it here... the emphasis here is mindfulness, compassion and living the teachings of yoga philosophy in our daily lives; on and off the mat. I've been part of the MMY community for over 6 years and have gone through yoga teacher training as well. The classes are well rounded, thoughtfully instructed by wonderful and amazing teachers, and not overly crowded. It's hidden gem that many people do not know about because it

Mindful Motion Yoga became my home away from home. The sweet owner, Terri, and the beautiful studio welcomed me with open arms and quickly became my safe haven and favorite place to be. I highly recommend the studio for anyone looking to begin or grow their yoga practice in a peaceful, mindful, and warming environment. My life will never be the same due to MMY.

What makes Mindful Motion Yoga so amazing? First and foremost, without a doubt it is the teachers. The owner, Terri, has put her greatest efforts into shaping the team of wonderful instructors in such a way that breeds an atmosphere that is calming, compassionate, comfortable and accepting. Secondly is the classes; there is a wide range of different class types to drop in on for any body type, and no class is either all physical or all mental, but a mix of both for the individual to take upon themselves and make the class their own. Thirdly, and certainly not the least or last point to note about

I stumbled upon this studio on accident during my lunch break from work. At the time, I just started my yoga practice a year before. I have never been to an actual yoga studio and I was interested in getting my RYT 200 to expand my practice. I entered the studio and I met with Terri (the owner). We had a wonderful conversation, I love the energy and the vibe of the place so I signed up for teacher training. I didn't live in Jax at the time and was commuting for work from gainesville (1.5 hr away). I was willing to make that drive to be part of the training. And I am so glad and grateful I did.

Whether it's your first yoga class or you are looking for a studio where you can continue and grow your current practice, I highly recommend Mindful Motion Yoga. I joined this studio earlier this year and my practice has improved, has been challenged, and continues to grow because of the instructors at the Mindful Motion Yoga studio. The Basic classes are fantastic for all levels because of the options the instructors provide and guide you into for each pose depending on the level your current practice is at. My favorite class is the Basic class offered mid week at 5:30, the same class is

I've been coming to Mindful Motion for a few weeks now and really love it. I wanted to join a yoga studio that made me feel comfortable since I am new to yoga and this place does just that. All of the classes I've been to have a good mix of beginners, moderate and advanced skilled yoga students. I can already feel a difference in my body and my flexibility which is rewarding. I've only experienced Mary Claire and Jordan as my instructors since I take the heater yoga classes and both instructors are awesome! Oh, and I really love how they provide equipment and a clean studio for you

I've been going here for a few months and it's nothing short of a fantastic experience each time. All of the instructors that I've had the pleasure of taking class with have been descriptive, helpful, and welcoming. Terri, the owner, has been the best part of my experience. Instead of just being another student, she quickly began to recognize me and talk to me like a friend. It seems like she truly loves what she's doing and loves all her students. The price is definitely fair compared to other yoga studios in the area and it's all inclusive. You can use everything they

This is my first and only review on YELP. I had zero experience with yoga and I bring up the median age considerably when I go. I started off with a basic yoga class with Terri (proprietor) and have stuck with it. Even though I cannot put weight on my wrist, if she is aware of your limits, she offers alternative positions or suggestions. The atmosphere is so serene and still.

She also offers the first class free! In less than two months, I have so much more flexibility, but better than that, when I get stressed (main reason why I started here) I do a couple of shoulder drops and rolls and breathe

I took my first yoga class yesterday here and I can't wait to go back. I took the gentle yoga as my first yoga class and it was just the right fit for a newbie like me. I felt limber but I did not get a hard work out. Slowly building into different levels.

The studio is clean and quiet. The other classmates were really friendly. Great location and easy to get to. And they have classes to fit anyone's schedule.

Great studio! Peaceful, inviting atmosphere with little judgement, if any (so unlike a lot of the competitive swear-til-you-pass-out studios). Most of the teachers are wonderful, only a couple lack the presentation ability but are new to teaching still. Anything you need is provided - mats, towels, straps, blocks, even water. Prices are reasonable, especially if you purchase a package. The owner is very involved and remembers you (also unlike many studios). Don't feel like you're not flexible or athletic enough - there are modifications offered for every pose in the classes. Overall, my favorite

Best Yoga studio in Jacksonville...... Excellent teachers. Terri is a great teacher and whether you are a novice or seasoned yogi you will learn something new in class. The studio is small but extra nice and spa-like, EVERYTHING needed is provided including complimentary bottled water, towels, mats, blocks, rolls, straps etc....... If you are thinking of trying yoga its a great place to go and learn.... you won't feel intimidated or left behind even if someone is in an advanced pose next to you.

While visiting my sister I decided to take her to a yoga class. I searched for yoga studios on the web. There were several to choose from but I picked out Mindful Motion Yoga for 2 reasons: one, it was a convenient location for my sister, and two, because they had a beginners class on Friday evening, which was when we wanted to go. Our first class was free, always a bonus. Before we went, I called to make sure that the info on the website was up-to-date, and it was. The person on the phone was super friendly and helpful. As it turns out, I had been speaking to the owner, Terri. She's a
