Our preschool is based on the Montessori method of teaching young children. We focus on developing the whole child with our curriculum. We help foster social growth and independence as well as academic readiness skills. For each child we create an individualized set of goals, so we can meet their needs in a way that encourages their success.

Cascade Preschool is proud to be a part of our community since 2000. Jenny, Deborah & Jody have been partners from the beginning. Our goal is to provide quality early childhood education and help children in our community begin a positive educational journey. Our strong & loyal partnership continues to provide a stable team with Michelle joining us in 2007.
Our curriculum is modeled after the Montessori method of learning. Every classroom is mixed age, 2 - 5 years old. We provide a variety of activities which meet an array of educational needs; such as building cognitive development, developing fine and gross motor skills, language acquisition and social / emotional development.
Yes, we prepare children for kindergarten in a mixed-age setting. We work on letter-sound recognition, number skills, and social emotional growth through hands on learning. We track each child's personal development to assure they are ready for kindergarten. No, we believe a child can be developmentally ready for preschool even if they aren't potty trained.
