I lived in The Stratford for a year and I was sad to go! I loved the layout and amenities of my apartment (2 bedroom/1.5 Bath townhouse) and the community was usually quiet and welcoming. I only have wonderful things to say about the management that I had contact with, namely Karen. She would bend over backwards to try to help out any residents that she could in anyway that she could while keeping the complex in good working order. If I ever go need to go back to renting, The Stratford will be my first phone call.

Overall, I have always loved this apartment complex because it is a small complex, usually well kept, nice living space, quiet, and conveniently located. I just moved back a year ago, I had a horrible experience with the prior property manager upon my exiting 3 years ago, so I was extremely reluctant about moving back. However, the current property manager has eased my fears and have been the epitome of what I personally think a property manager should be. I moved into this complex in Nov...I've had nothing but an excellent experience here. I chose this apartment complex to move into due to the outside appearance...lanscape was beautiful and the complex looked nice. It feels amazing to come home and see all the upgrades that is going on in the last few months. I can't say anything negative about the apartment manager and the new maintenance man! Karen is amazing at making sure that everything is taken care of and feeling welcome in the community. Mike does an amazing job at fixing all the repairs that need to be needed. I've been wanting to leave a review on here for the past 2 years but I was afraid of retaliation from the management. I've moved out, so here goes.
If you love the sounds of racing traffic, police sirens, stolen shopping carts and drunks outside your window all night this is the place for you!!
Not only do you get to live in a community that not only allows smoking, but pretty much caters to it, you also get the chance to puff away on your cancer stick while hanging out with the manager. If you can't afford your own cigarettes, don't worry. There will be about 6 dudes blowing

My fiancé and I moved to these apartments. Decent amount of space. If you need repairs done the maintance guy can’t get a lot done. But the manager Karen seems to keep up with anything we need done and she is super friendly. Never had problems on parking. Just asked where our guests could park if parking was full. Some things are above her but that’s just how it goes any where you live. We moved here after management change and have been happy. It’s a very quiet place to live seems like. Not many kids but lots of friendly dogs.

The maintenance guy is weird and complains about everything and apperently management always micromanages everything. You will get fees for the smallest things... Literally. They find ways to get money from you and try to get you violations. They have nothing better to do. They're bored or something. Zero stars.

I lived at the apartment for over 18 years. I saw lots of managers come and go. The current Manager is a nightmare. She has serious issues being compliant with legal laws. Patty Herman had her maintain economic crews and even herself enter into my apartment for non-emergency matters such as removing my portable air conditioner out of the bedroom window 3 separate times. When I moved into my own home and received the remainder of my deposit, She also double charged me for utilities and refused to pay them even when I explained she was wrong... My experience at The Stratford has been great! The complex is nice & quiet. The neighbors are friendly and quiet. The living area and the fixtures are great and Irene does a fantastic job of managing all of the details! She was exceptional during the leasing process and any and every concern I've had along the way! She takes care of it all in a professional and timely manner! The place is excellent for the money!

"The old lady" as mentioned in other posts is the sweetest woman I have ever met and has dropped everything she's doing to help us during the time we lived there. Yes you can hear a dishwasher or laundry running upstairs, but not so loud that it disturbs you, just some white noise. The pricing was perfect for what you get and can't say enough about the community feel of the place, everyone saying hello and being friendly without being invasive.
P.s. I hang up on anyone that tries to sell me stuff over the phone too!!
