Austin the property manager at Ellie Apartments is phenomenal! My move in had some bumps in the road which included a newly discovered leak, and sereral other maintenance issues. Austin worked diligently to promptly solve these problems and ensure that proper and immediate action was taken. I have lived at many properties and when management has a prompt response to ANY issue that is a reassuring sign that you're in good hands. I absolutely love my new apartment, and would recommend Ellie to anyone. Thank you for making everything perfect Austin!

Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else, I signed a 10 month lease and within the first TWO months, the paint on the tubs started peeling and I put in multiple work orders to get it fixed only for them to never come and fix it and charge us $400 at the end of our lease for having to repaint the tub, deleting any records showing that we made those work orders so we had no way to prove they had been requested. The cabinets also came off the hinges multiple times while we were living there and let me not also mention how LONG it takes them to fix anything (2 weeks for even the simplest requests

Hi all, I just recently moved out of these apartments. I would recommend living anywhere, but here. The upgrades they make are cheap and do not uphold. The maintenance came in to fix a leak and used my brand new dryer as a ladder and put dents in it then proceeded to blame it on the third party construction crew they hired. They take way too long to respond to maintenance requests and the ladies in the office were unprofessional and rude. I received my move out statement and Roscoe Property Management is charging me $400 for pet odor in the carpet when my apartment did not have any carpet at all

My time at Ellie was great until my apartment building turned into a construction site. This is hazardous towards their residents and they are not doing anything to accommodate their residents through this time. The management is simply saying that the "understand it is frustrating". Frustrating? No, this is unacceptable and outrageous. The units below me being remodeled are left wide open, unlocked. They are releasing toxic fumes and are hazardous towards residents living in the building.

Apartments aren't bad but they will literally tack on extra fees for anything (excess breathing fee-100) they even charged us for the winter storm damages although my unit didn't have any. Said everyone's fees were more to pay for damages? By the time you get done paying fees you could just afford to live somewhere better.

Just moved to Ellie in late February 2021. The apartment is spacious and even the ones with older (non-designer) floor plan is nice looking.
My maintenance requests have always been addressed promptly. The high priority one only took them a few hours to address. The low priority ones can take longer to fix (more than a week), but they're low priority so it's no biggie.
Minus 1 star because they should've inspected the apartment themselves (instead of asking new tenants to do that) and fixed the issues before I moved in and not after.
Their staff has always been helpful and friendly

Nicole is the most informative and kind leasing agent I have interacted with in my search for an apartment. Having financial difficulties in that past that I’m still recovering from, she was understanding and did not immediately refer me or write me off. If there was an option to provide zero stars, I would. This property is the absolute worst in Austin. Never have I experienced such mockery and unprofessionalism from the staff at the front office and with upper Roscoe management. I have been dealing with a roach infestation for the past month and Ellie is not being proactive. Sure, they have offered to have pest control come weekly, but the issue is not getting fixed. They have laughed when I asked my seconds month rent to be compensated and this is taking a toll on my mental state. I'm constantly on the lookout for roachs when I'm cooking

I am shaking as I write this, post making lunch and killing 20 roaches in the span of 5 minutes. Every time I stand, there are roaches scattering all over the floor. In my 26 years of life I have never seen anything more disgusting nor have I ever seen anything come close to this. I am horrified to know how many creatures I share my kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living room with. I've had to check the ceiling while I sit on my sofa, to make sure there isn't a roach above me.

So, I got home last night to find someone in my parking spot. I called the towing companies number to get the truck removed from my spot, only to find out Ellie put a hold on the services in AUGUST. If I'm paying $50+ a month for a service and a parking spot, this shouldn't be happening. There was NO EMAIL, no flyers on the carports, nothing! Just me calling at 11:00 at night and finding out from the tow company that they can't service this complex. So, be prepared to park far from your building or on the street.

ELLIE is a BEAUTIFUL property in a GREAT location. The pool area is small but beautiful and their clubhouse is beautifully decorated and functional. Package lockers were so convenient. And although I never used them, the gym has PELATON BIKES! My neighbors were great, I personally never had any noise complaints, valet trash pickup was a godsend. The units are beautiful for the prices, great water pressure, I had a huge washer and dryer in my unit - gorgeous and spacious balconies, and lots of greenery. Great little routes to go on walks as the complex is in a little neighborhood-like area.

I am living at Ellie Apartments in Austin TX and have only been here for a month and it's been an irritating experience. Management doesn't get things fixed unless you physically go into the office and make yourself known. Maintenance will not get things done unless you go into the office or keep calling and calling. The management at Ellie did a poor job of informing me about where I could initially park when I first moved in and got towed on my first night and it took them over 3 weeks to give me my mailbox key, and the only reason they did was because I physically went into the office. While I still like my apartment itself, my experiences with management and maintenance have been far less than pleasant. As other reviewers have stated, we had a lot of pest issues. We have also had some water issues and our dishwasher broke down.
All of these things may be normal and easily fixed, but I've had to follow up on every maintenance request to ensure that they were completed. The head of maintenance has a habit of marking requests as completed before they are. And there is no communication between residents and maintenance or maintenance and the office.

I liked my unit. It was spacious and the lighting was nice, very rarely did I have any maintenance issues and the price was reasonable considering how big the unit was and it came with a washer and dryer.
There were cockroaches, not the small ones that come from being dirty but the large tree ones. Ugh. They were pretty frequent throughout the summer and the millipedes were pretty bad last year too. Pest control comes to spray but my unit had BIG gaps around the patio doors so they were coming in regardless. :(
My biggest qualm with this place is the towing. Near building 9 the parking lot had

First, the basics - the apartments are spacious with huge closets and balconies and the complex itself feels very breezy with enough variation to walk my dogs a different route each day, but not feel lost or unsafe. I've never had trouble finding a parking spot and I'm a quick drive to downtown.
My great experience here started from my tour. I stressed how important looking at the actual unit I'd be living in was and Kirby was patient enough to go with me to several different units, never rushing me.

I've had a leak that has pretty much ruined part of the wall and is starting to mold. Put in a maintenance request over a week ago. They have been here twice to look at it but haven't done a thing to fix it. I've had nobody reach out. Now I'm having throat congestion, the air quality is bad, and the place stinks. Multiple emails to management and no responses.

I stopped by my boyfriend's apartment to drop something off, I was inside for 30m. As we came down the stairs I could see my car was gone. I looked to my left and saw it on the back of a tow truck. I was chasing it, yelling for it to stop. It didn't. Residents spilled out of their apts hearing my yelling to see what was happening. Several residents had similar stories. Ellie allows predatory towing.

Nobody is perfect, hence the 4 stars. Great location, always a lime(electric scooter) around to zip around town or grab a complimentary bike from the office to enjoy a nice stroll around the neighborhood. Friendly staff and dog friendly!

Highly annoying to deal with. I was in a fairly serious car wreck, after I got done with the hospital and got
my rental car, brought it home and parked in my usual spot, they towed my rental, like i wasn't dealing with enough already.
Yes I know that it's technically my fault but no sympathy or help offered. Not a very friendly place.
Not to mention the apartment wasn't even described properly, told we would have black appliances and they actually old an ugly off white color.

I really couldn't find a reason not to give this place less than 5 stars. They do a great job of communicating with the residents, safety is a priority, the apartment layout is great, and they have fair prices. I especially love the location and the pool is fantastic.
This is a Roscoe property, so their pricing and fees are just the same as any other one of their properties. Dog friendly!
I would definitely check it out if you're looking for a new place!

I love my newly renovated apartment! I won't lie, it was a rocky start which honestly wasn't ALL Ellie's fault, it's an older complex so you can't expect perfection. My move in date ended up being pushed back about a week and a half, due to the renovations being delayed a bit, but in the end it worked out for the best. The staff(Kirby, Hunter, and Katie) were very helpful and did what they could to correct the situation. I also had a pipe bust the first day I was moving in when hooking up the washer, but I called the emergency phone number and maintenance was literally there right away and took
