We are a Local Family Owned and Operated Establishment Since 1986. We have lived in SLO for over 50 years and are Proud Cal Poly Alumni. Known for our hospitality, The Peach Tree Inn offers modestly priced rooms (for our area) with a homey feel. No two rooms are decorated the same, we offer a variety of room types to fit different budgets and needs.

We are proud of our longtime and Loyal following and know many of our guests by Name. We are not "fancy" But will do our best to make you feel at home and comfortable during your stay. We are ahead of our competition in helping to save the planet's resources by recycling heavily and encourage other hotels to do the same.
Services
Mornings are special in our large breakfast room. We're up early to prepare an ample continental breakfast, including fresh Locally Baked breads, fruit, juice, hot and cold cereals, coffee, tea and more. Our coffee is the best on the street, we grind our own beans in back! Visit with new friends, browse the net, take your coffee out on to the porch to drink in the mountain views or simply enjoy the hummingbirds as they dazzle and delight.

It's more beautiful than one realizes, in terms of the giant trees that are all around. The rooms are small-decor can only be described as charming. Its like an actual bedroom rather than impersonal travel lodging. And unlike MANY, many places I've seen in last 4 months, these rooms are immaculately cleaned-like a motel room SHOULD BE...1 of my all-time favorites. Not fancy: peaceful & very comfortable. I definitely recommend this spot(love the sound of wind in the big ol trees!)

Room and breakfast (boiled eggs, toast, cereals, juice, coffee, tea) was good. The AC/ heater unit is a bit loud.. front desk was very courteous. If you don't ask, then room service is every 2 days

For the price and location you can't beat it.

For less than a hundo l had a nice bed, clean room, good ventilation, its a beautiful location. I parked right in front of the room.

I walked downtown and got my drink on.

Everyone was very friendly.

I really liked it.

If you just want a crash pad this is your place.

If you want luxury, and want to chill in your room and watch on a huge UHD TV you might want to stay elsewhere, but I really liked it.

My girls and I went to SLO for the weekend. My Mom and sister suggested this place as they had stayed here many years ago.
The place was perfect for us. I liked the fact that there was sign upon check in stating that all staff were vaccinated! The grounds were so cute and well kept. The room was very quiet and clean.

The continental breakfast was good but I was a bit surprised that they had it due to Covid spikes.

I only gave 4 stars as the ice machine was out of service.

We will definitely stay here again!

Super cute hotel with clean and nice rooms! Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately our room was next to the main building patio and some people were talking really loud the whole morning so we couldn’t sleep. But that’s not the hotels fault, so still 5 star.

We came to peach tree inn totally last minute after a horrible experience else where . We loved our stay here . We stayed in a king family room that had a wonderful porch that looked our a creek . Room was cute country style , updated and very clean . Bed was comfy and pull out sofa had a comfy memory foam mattress that my kids said was surprisingly comfy. This place has a cute common area with seating and a tree swing my kids loved . At night when my 1 year was extremely fussy I went out there and rocked him to sleep and it was a beautiful night under he sky . Breakfast was good and easy with

Just stayed here to save money rather than staying in morro bay and I’m glad I did! Extremely clean, friendly staff and a great location. If you sleep in late stay in a room in the back, unfortunately some guy woke me up early yapping his head off right outside my room on the balcony and I couldn’t go back to sleep which left me tired at the wedding I attended the next day. Also the top sheet was too thin like a hospital blanket so I was pretty cold the whole night. Other than that the place is nice, good water pressure and very well maintained. The cleaning lady forgot to put shampoo and conditioner

We just returned home from our wine testing trip in San Luis Obispo county. We spent a night in Peach Tree Inn, and what a nice surprise it was: clean and charming, perfect location, very nice room - comfortable, with all what we needed: upgraded AIC, good size refrigerator, two big beds, etc. Our room was in the back lane, it was big, with the patio and a view to a green belt. Really nice! The breakfast was more than we expected for the very reasonable price. We definitely will come to the Peach Tree Inn again when we travel to SLO!

Nice, unassuming motel. Property is well maintained and the rooms are clean if a bit on the small side. Complimentary continental breakfast was a nice touch. Close to a couple restaurants for a late night drink if you like.

Clean, quiet, no frills but very comfortable. Bench swing, chairs and grassy, shady area are all wonderful for some quiet time outside one's room, except for those taking their pets out to do their business in the same area. Maybe a dog run should be available for those traveling with pets.

Peach Tree Inn is a throwback "motor hotel" probably built in the late 1950-60's. It is modest yet colorfully cute as a button, comfortable in a nostalgic sort of way, and convenient and desirable for its prime location. For those who might have a student attending UCSLO, it is about 1.5 miles from the campus. It is also a short distance from quaint eateries, coffee houses, and boutiques in the vibrant, old downtown area of San Luis Obispo.

I love finding little places like this. They are quite reasonably priced in comparison to the other large chain motels that line Monterey

Peach Tree was recommended to us by a friend and we were not disappointed. We checked in early evening and Natalie was on the front desk, she was warm and friendly and let us view different rooms to choose from. We chose a creek side room and were able to enjoy the sounds of nature on a private patio. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. A… great free breakfast got us off to a good start for our days adventures on our return trip home. We will certainly be back any time we are in the area and highly recommend the Peach Tree to all travelers. Might also add that the prices are great

What a wonderful place to stay in San Luis Obispo! We were on our way home to Santa Clarita from Santa Cruz, getting very tired and stopped in and Kim welcomed us at the front desk, she explained they had one room available due to a last minute cancellation so we took it, an amazingly peaceful setting with a wonderfully cozy room, even though they were fully booked it was a nice and quite night...A very cute place to stay in SLO!!!

We found this place via Yelp and it is a true gem! It's a very large typical 1950's motor lodge that has been fully renovated. It's very cool, I guess you could call it charming. It's a single story and arranged in a square with large trees in the center. I will post photos as it is hard to imagine unless you are my age or older and I know I'm one of the oldest Yelpers. The Peach Tree is like the places I saw as a kid and all but a handful are long gone nationwide

Our very clean room wasn't big by today's standards, but huge considering when this inn was built
