I went to Armandos to celebrate a birthday. It was a small party of 6 people and the check was divided by 3 people. I wrote on the back of the ticket what should be charged on each card. However the waiter got the bills mixed up and charged different charges on different cards. We found out about the wrong card charges until the next day.
If you go you must to double check that you have been charged the correct amount to your card.

I have been going here forever and I used to love this place. However, in the recent months the quality of the food and the care of general service has gone down drastically, while they have also increased their prices. I’m unsure whether this is because of a change in management or chefs but it is really disappointing because we used to love going here every week. The ambience is amazing, I just wish they would keep the quality of their food up the way it has always been. We won’t be going back for a while. We might give it another shot in a couple of months to see whether it has improved

First of all, the margaritas here are some of the best - if not, *the* best - in all of Houston. If we're talking just about the drinks, definitely five stars. The decor in the inside is also gorgeous; it's got a great atmosphere. My only complaint is that I don't think the quality of the food matches the prices they charge - but if that's not a concern of yours, definitely check it out!

I was not impressed with the food but service was good. My fiance's food was bland and flavorless. They basically gave her a slab of meat and chicken that wasn't even cut up. Usually the meats should've been sliced. My tacos al carbon were ok but the meat again was flavorless. Don't think we'll ever come back.

If you are going during the weekend reserve a table. It's extremely busy and the dining area on the smaller side. Even with a reservation it took them 17minutes for a party of 4 to be seated. Valet parking is only 5$. The atmosphere: business casual. Very lively; Everyone is talking so if you're looking for a quiet place this is not it. You might have trouble hearing people in your table. Margaritas are 14$ for a frozen which comparatively to other restaurants was not worth the price. The presentation for the "Panchita" (3rd picture) looked sloppy what you expect from an inexpensive mexican diner
