Lovely sitting area in the back while waiting for a table deconstructed Nova lox is a bit of a hassle putting together with such a small surface area of plate to work with. My partner did not enjoy the brie pancake. Great service and drinks. Will definitely be a back for the aesthetics and to try something different on the menu.

Located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga and inside a cute retro boho boutique hotel. This breakfast spot was very cozy and romantic for our date day in the city. The food was mouth watering and savory. We had the cinnamon bun pancakes and the pesto potatoes and feta cheese and butternut squash quiche. To die for! Loved the ambiance and it was a real treat!

There are hardly words to explain the simple yet eclectic charm that is savored in each bite of any and every menu item at this precious little place. Getting ready to head out of Chattanooga, we stopped in for breakfast here and between the local pork sausage served, extra fluffy big pancakes(my daughter ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes with homemade cinnamon icing!!) of various flavors and sorts, coffee served in special mugs with fun sayings, and a truly original and outstanding grits and brazened kale dish, this place did not disappoint, but rather left us craving more of the good vibes and

Food so good and the best coffee we have had at a restaurant. Kat our waitress was excellent. Met the owner enjoyed talking about coffee and her husband the roaster genius!

I love supporting local restaurants and we've been excited to try Syrup and Eggs in their new location. The wait time was quoted about 45 mins-1 hour, which is expected on a Saturday morning. We got there around 9:15 and our party of 4 were seated by around 10 AM.
The service was truly terrible. No one came to the table for at least 10-15 minutes. We ordered our food and drinks immediately and didn't get our food delivered until another hour later. Had to wave down a different server for coffee refills and ask for an update on our food. Once we got our food, part of the order was missing

The BEST breakfast we’ve had in a long, long time! The wait on Saturday morning was an hour, but it was absolutely worth it. Delicious food and great atmosphere. The grits are amazing! If you’re gluten-free, do not miss the GF coffee cake—the best GF coffee cake I have ever had. Highly recommend this quaint, unique cafe!

This ain't your grandpappy's pancake joint! Well maybe it is if you're grandpappy made custom cinnamon swirl pancakes with real maple syrup at all the tables. We came into town looking for a hot pancake spot and Syrup and Eggs followed through and then some. The decor is really unique and eclectic so you'll feel like you're someplace special as soon as you walk in. The menu features a unique take on pancakes and breakfast. I had the Cinnamon swirl which the server recommended and it was delicious. The lee are vegan options as well. Drinks are also fun and tasty. The Cappuccino

This place has delicious brunch. My husband and I shared the super B.S. and the breakfast fries. I also had one of their fall flavored coffee cocktails called the Basic Witch which was also quite yummy. I'm really glad we made reservations bc there was an hour and a half wait for those that did not have reservations.

This was an odd experience. Super trendy. Decent service. Very cool menu. Unfortunately the food just did not match everything else. My daughter got the apple pie pancakes. We didn't expect them to have so many nuts. The crumble on top was in big chunks and very hard. She also didn't like that apples which very very tart vs sweet. She took one bite. A place with high level service would have noticed and suggested a solution. I got the taco pancake. There was a huge dry pancake with an anemic amount of accompaniments. Half the pancake remained alone on the plate. The fruit cup was full

I loved Syrup and Eggs! I went two days in a row while I was staying at Dwell and both meals were fantastic. The Serious B.S. biscuit has egg, sausage, and an insanely delicious white cheddar pimento cheese on it. The second day was even better! I ordered the Apple Pie Pancake with bacon. The cinnamon apples and streusel pieces were the perfect balance tart and sweet & the bacon was cooked perfectly. The coffee was really good, too. Also shout out to my delightful servers, Kat & Wil, who took great care of me and recommended just the right thing both visits. Definitely try to visit if you

3 of us went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Wait time quoted was 55 min. Waited outside. Actual wait time was 90 min for a table inside. Once seated orders were taken promptly. Coffee was super weak. Food took about 60 minutes for a kids pancake, a slice of quiche with sausage, and a breakfast sandwich.
Food was decent. The quiche was best. Perhaps we were a little distracted swatting the constant swarm of fruit flies at our table.
Food was ok. The flies enjoyed it more than we did. Service good. Most certainly not worth waiting for.

Amazing every time with delightful staff that is always attentive, delicious food and drinks, and charming atmosphere. Today we sat outside and enjoyed the patio. I got the Panwich again and tried their chai iced with oat milk. My dad got the Less B.S. sandwich, a blueberry pancake, and cold brew coffee.
PS--the Panwich is really, really good with poached eggs. Just ask for them soft or medium at most and spread them out on the sandwich. Extra tasty!

This is my absolutely favorite restaurant in Chattanooga. They always have incredible flavor combinations and venues that change out frequently. Whether it’s their sourdough pan which which is a pancake that’s done like a grilled cheese with a sourdough batter. Or some other sweet and savory options like bacon candied and hot pepper jam with sesame’s on it. Everything I’ve had has been an absolute delight and will definitely go again and again and again

This place is definitely different. Starting with designer hotel that the restaurant is attached. The wait was long but the food was soooooooo good. It requires you to try some stuff that you have never heard paired together. Trust me when I say "step outside the box" the peach pancakes and the chicken sausage OMG!!! Preston have us service that was unmatched to most restaurants that I've been in. They made sure we were good. They hour and a half wait was well worth it for the food and the service. If you go on a weekend I'm sure you need to bring some patience or Netflix.

Some things you may consider before reading my glowing review:
A. This place served Portrait Coffee.
B. This place was a literal beacon (or bacon?) of hope on a long road trip by myself.
C. This place served Portrait Coffee.
I ordered the bacon egg and cheese biscuit with the mustard sauce and a side arugula salad (for health, ya know). The biscuit was sweeter and firmer than I was expecting, but it was surely a welcome surprise. The mustard sauce was an incredible complement and with a little dash of cholula, it was absolutely 100% everything I wanted! It was inside of a chic hotel, so the bathroom

This place was really cool! We loved it! The decor is awesome! It’s a tiny little place. Menu options are different which is cool. They even had breakfast sandwiches using pancakes as the bread. Our choice was a special of the day and it was absolutely delicious!!! It was like steak kebabs with fried egg and some potatoes. The flavors were amazing! The steak was cold on arrival, but perhaps it was supposed to be. Not sure. Water is served room temp with no ice. I would’ve preferred some ice in my water. My first cup of coffee was a little too cold for me, but I’m picky and like my coffee

Excellent food, great service but there want a ramp or smooth wheelchair entrance.
The latte was amazing and the perfect beverage while we waited. We were given a carrot cake pancake and it was delicious. Not too sweet and seemed very ginger heavy! Delicious. Then I had a slice egg pie with with sweet potatoes and goat cheese. It was good and huge! The pesto potatoes were my side and they were great.
Food was all great but the fact there were only stairs for entrance stunk.
