Hotel Storyville
Our huge 'back yard gardens' are a wonderful place to sit under the gazebos and enjoy a glass of wine (or soda). Hotel Storyville is a sweet little spot just 2 blocks from the edge of the French Quarter, where we offer you get the best of both worlds. World Famous Bourbon Street and all that goes with it, is just minutes away.

But then you can retreat to the quiet charm of Hotel Storyville in no time flat. Our huge Garden is a wonderful place to sit under the gazebos and enjoy a glass of wine (or soda). It is now available to rent for weddings, receptions, crawfish boils, reunions, corporate picnics, birthday parties, etc.
Services
Each suite also has a full kitchen completely furnished with coffee maker, microwave, stove, fridge, dishes, glasses (even wine), flatware, pots/pans, etc. You could easily cook a complete dinner here, although - who really wants to when you are surrounded by some of the best restaurants in the world!
I moved to NOLA 16 years ago from St Thomas, USVI, where I owned a graphic design studio there for 14 years. As they were resident InnKeepers, it was necessary for one of them to stay and mind the Inn while the other would travel. Later, they asked if I would 'babysit' the property so they could vacation together.
The Storyville provided the absolutely perfect small hotel for enjoying our first New Orleans experience in twenty years! Location, between the fair grounds and Bourbon Street, made everything a walk or a short bus or taxi ride. Watching the people passing by, from the porch, was its own entertainment while relaxing with coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening.
My suggestions for my customers is the same thing I would do. It's fun for me and I am sure everyone would also enjoy. After a short walk down Esplanade Ave admiring the ambiance a quick stop into Port of Call for my favorite walk around drink. The tequila based Red Turtle. Refreshing and cool with a sweet and sour type flavor.

Clean hotel, near French Quarter and Frenchman street. No one on site though, more like an Airbnb.

Truly a great place to stay. Air BnB's are so far, the best way to get a quality room. This is an excellent choice. Service is terrific and the garden area the perfect place for a romantic relationship.

It's a unique, quirky hotel. With lots of Character. What you would expect out of NOLA. Nice rooms, everything getting a facelift right now after being closed for a year due to pandemic. Would love to come back when the Gardens are at full display. Great host, enjoyed our stay!

I love this place so much. I have stayed here twice. The first time was for my Aunts wedding two years ago and I loved it so much, I came back and brought 17 friends from Austin. Barbara is so accommodating and sweet. The rooms are FANTASTIC with so many amenities, to the huge private court yard. Not to mention you are walking distance to so many great restaurants, parades, jazz fest, the french quarters- I could go on. Look no further and book your stay at Hotel Storyville!

Just checked into this little jewel, and was not disappointed at all. All of the rooms are so clean and beautiful, and no musty smell at all. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. There's a nice balcony, and a wonderful courtyard garden in the back. You can bet that any time I come back to the area, I'll be staying here!
