Very nice decor and friendly atmosphere. It's nice to have something different than the several large restaurant groups that are putting up spots everywhere around town. The menu has a lot of options including seafood, meats,and poultry. Ended the meal woth the warms churros with ice cream it was great as well. Definitely recommend.

Cedar is a hidden gem. Off the beaten path, with exceptional food and drink served by friendly people who genuinely want every patron to leave with a great experience. We went during Covid when staffing was short, and they immediately acknowledged that they were shorthanded but still provided drinks right away and got appetizers out fast. The owner came by a couple times to check on us, refill waters, and thank us for choosing Cedar.

I can't wait to return next summer!

Excellent food and Amy is a great staff member. We tried 3 soups and they were all first rate. Hopefully the pumpkin will stay on the menu for as long as possible. Too bad the room is so loud, it unfortunately made the table conversation difficult.

Delicious food! But you should get reservations. We went when it opened but was already full with reserved tables. I can see why though. This is the place to be.
We were able to sit outside though so we could enjoy the food. Also a bit quieter. Service was perfect. We will be back.
I had filet which was perfect. Someone else had scallops which were fantastic as well.

Looking for a good dinner Thursday night. Ordered a vodka mule and it was delicious. Husband got a Manhattan and it was ok. Dinner was stuffed shrimp and I ordered the filet. Both were excellent. Asked for my steak to be rare but with a warm center and it did not disappoint. Only thing I would ask for is if the noise level could be lower but you can't have everything!

I called ahead and Kitty spoke to the Chef about what options I could have. They can make/alter several dishes on the menu Gluten Free Ingredients and prepared separately from other foods. I had the most delicious meal: filet seasoned perfectly, red garlic mashed potatoes, and vegetable medley. The server was familiar with celiac and both she and the manager were very helpful and pleasant. Communicated with the chef on alterations. This was the most delicious meal I have had since being diagnosed. We will be a regular here!

My boyfriend and I came here Friday night, sat at the bar, and we started with some drinks and Conch fritters (they were so good that I forgot to snap a pic!) I had the Ahi Tuna as my meal, and my boyfriend got the Paella. Amazing is an understatement, it was the perfect portion and everything was super fresh... Being in the service industry for 10+ years and I can honestly say it was the best meal and experience I've had in a long time. Matt and Jack, with the help of their wives and family, make an awesome team, and we can't wait to come back!

Consistently the best food around! I LOVE the ahi tuna entree! My husband, a meat eater, LOVES the halibut. I could eat there every day! The signature martini with the cucumber infused vodka is the best! Try it for yourselves!!!

If you want to try takeout from Cedar (which their phone message said could be done after 5:00 pm on the day I called) and the option to do so just rings and then hangs up (repeatedly), don't bother. And if that happens, don't bother going to the restaurant in person to try and place a take out order. It ain't happening. I get it that they want to focus on their in person customers, but I guess they are just too busy doing so to take a minute to update their message ahead of time to say "no take out" on a particular night. High quality local restaurant in a rather quiet location away from the increasingly busy areas of Ocean View and Bethany Beach. Great service and good food/drinks offering fresh, tasty specials as well. Outdoor seating available along with cozy indoor seating, too. Well worth a visit for a nice local business.

We were at another local restaurant and the couple sitting next to us recommended Cedar Land and Sea. I cannot believe we were unaware of it! Every single meal we have had there has been fantastic - steak, crabcakes and salad are all excellent. We go almost weekly and always look forward to it.

We were really excited to try this place and a bit bummed. The place is beautifully decorated and the bar had a great atmosphere. We waited a good 30 minutes (anticipate) out on the patio (closed for an incoming rainstorm) but when they said it should be just a few more minutes we went inside. We waited an additional 20+ minutes only to be seated at a table that had been open the entire time we were standing there. Had a nice dinner at Cedar. Made reservation with Matt, one of the owners, who was very nice. Our servers, Lauren and Liv, both contributed to the fun time. Will deffinitely go back!

I have found a home restaurant away from home. Great atmosphere and the folks who work there are great. We walked in tonight hoping to get seated for dinner. Surprise surprise they were booked. Fully understandable. However the hostess came out after us in the parking area to say there was room at the bar. We sat at the bar and had a great dinner. I'm used to eating at the bar at my hometown restaurant so I was thrilled to to be able to try out this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The bartender Michelle was awesome and the food was top notch. I felt right at home and will definitely go

Drinks were amazing. Dinner was very nice and the staff is great. Only constructive criticism would be to cook the fresh veggies for less time. The broccoli was very overcooked. But all in all this a neighborhood gem us locals love to have in the area.

Unbelievable restaurant! We walked in knowing nothing about this restaurant but we are leaving forever customers. From the drinks, to the appetizers, to the main course all the way to dessert, everything was DELICIOUS!! Will 10000% be back and give this restaurant our highest recommendation.

Stopped in and picked up a slice of the key lime pie. It was AMAZING!!! Tart, smooth, and lots of lime flavor. Topped with a sprinkle of coconut and pistachio (I think) and some fresh herbs. My husband and I devoured it.

We came down on a Monday and left on Friday so we waited patiently until Thursday night for Cedar to open and boy was it worth the wait. Despite the only takeout option, the food was phenomenal. We got the ahi tuna steaks, filet mignon, and crab cakes. BEST MEAL WE HAD ON OUR TRIP! Everything was not only cooked to perfection but flavored and well seasoned. Plus the customer service was equally matched . The owners were as nice as their food. We had a carry out family meal last night. A good mix of apps, entree and sandwiches too choose from. We really enjoyed the food. I personally recommend the BLT and the salmon dip! The service was good too. They were very busy so at peak times expect to wait. We called our order in and the staff was upfront on the wait time which was really helpful.

We have been intrigued to try this new restaurant and stopped in on a Saturday evening. By luck there was a table open just as we walked in and we were seated immediately. Evan was our waiter and he was excellent, he knew the drinks well and the local things they were named after. He was also familiar with all of the dishes and easily answered our questions. We started with cocktails from a nice selection and shared the conch, clam and character fritters, they came with a delicious dipping sauce. We chose the Cedar paella for two as our entree and it was amazing! The presentation was excellent

We were excited to eat here but had a few pretty big disappointments. Margarita was good and fried tomatoes were good, except for the red sauce that made them soggy. Their hamburger was burnt and crab dip was too fishy tasting for us. Owners are supposedly present, but very slow to respond. We messaged twice on their facebook site only to be told they prefer to talk in person. Private customer feedback should be appreciated, but it wasn't. They offered no compensation for our bad experience to date. We spent $84 and did not enjoy it. We will not go back.

Food is good. Reasonable prices for seafood too Cozy bar with small area for tables. Does have outside seating too. Very friendly and accommodating staff and owners greet you at the door, nice touch.

I accidentally made reservations at a restaurant with the same name in PA, at prime dinner time, for 10 people.

Great addition to this area! Fresh food, friendly service, great menu options. Our waiter, Sam, was so friendly and helpful (and patient with our crazy crew :) ). The call ahead option was nice since we had a group of 6 on a Thursday night. Appetizers were good, not amazing but definitely good (crab dip, fritters, spicy shrimp, Caesar salad).
