We provide high-quality food in a casual setting for all ages and appetites. This includes laid-back beach grub from your classic boardwalk style favorites to SoCal inspired tacos. Our cocktail is comprised of a variety of traditional beach favorites, with a handful of Beach Club originals. Our beer list is extensive and includes a wide range of domestics, imports, and local craft brews.

Open from April thru October, The Big Chill Beach Club is located within the Delaware Seashore State Park at the southern corner of the Indian River Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean.

The Delaware Seashore State Park is one of the state's most popular travel destinations. The park offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and Rehoboth and Indian River Bays to the west. Set up camp beside the iconic Indian River Inlet Bridge, only a short walk from the beach. The Indian River Marina is a full-service marina offering charter boat experiences and excellent fishing opportunities.
The Big Chill Beach Club is located within The Delaware Seashore State Park at the South Inlet Day Use Area. Admission fees do apply to those visiting both the state park and The Big Chill Beach Club. 100% of parking costs directly benefit Delaware State Parks and their mission.
Just as downtown Rehoboth and Bethany require folks to pay for parking, state parks must do the same, as they depend on these parking costs to help maintain our state's most beautiful scapes & the protection of state wildlife.If you plan on visiting The Big Chill Beach Club, or any one of Delaware's beautiful state parks multiple times throughout the year, we encourage you to explore yearly pass options.

We just happened to stumble across this place as we were making our way home from Ocean City. What a super cool spot. Everyone was so friendly! Excellent drinks and delicious food. We'll definitely be back... and we'll definitely be sure to pack a beach chair so that we can sit out on the beautiful beach post our meal.

TLDR: Great convenient location inside the state park, so you can spend the day at the beach and then eat here. Parking is definitely tough on the weekends.
Crab cake sandwich (9/10): Delicious! Locked the flavors. There was definitely a lot of filler in the crab cake, but there was a good amount of crab meat. More than some restaurants. I also really liked the bun. The whole sandwich just went really well together and I liked it a lot.
Sunset Sammy (2/10): Pretty terrible sandwich. Chicken was extremely dry and was lacking flavor, like any flavor. It says it’s pineapple jalapeño marinated

This is one of our favorite casual restaurants. Yes, you have to pay the State Park fee to park, but it supports the park & we have the seasonal pass so that is not a concern for us. But just be aware. Whether you are coming right off the beach for lunch, coming for sunset where they blow the conch shell to signify the end of the day or go at night for dinner with a spectacular view of the Indian River Bridge, it's great! There were seven of us that came in and were lucky enough to sit and the bar and be taken care of by Jordan and Tom!!! Great personalities and Jordan kicked out some amazing Cherry Lime crushes. Dinner was banging and the atmosphere was great! Happy I’m here year round to enjoy this gem and a cool place to hang with friends 👍🏻

We are so glad we were able to make it out here! Lovely kind and attentive service, great food, delicious strong drinks, and the best atmosphere you can ask for! The beach club is a great place for a group or family. Fun music playing, lots of varied seating options, and you can even get takeout to walk down to the beach with!
They do share a parking lot and bathrooms with the state park. The parking is $5 for Delaware state license plates and $10 for out of state plates. Well worth it.
The view of the bridge is beautiful and especially lovely if you come in time for sunset! I'd highly recommend

$$ On site parking. Beachfront Restaurant with a great atmosphere, good food and, friendly staff. They have a wide selection of margaritas and drinks plus a menu with a taste of the sea. We had their Crab Dip and I'm a little biased about this (being from Maryland) that it kind of fell short in taste, being somewhat bland and runny. Their Mahi-Mahi Tacos on the other hand were for me the star of the evening, with deliciously grilled Mahi, avocado and a spicy mayo. My family and I were visiting from SC and Big Chill was recommended to us. The staff was great, very family oriented and a great view of the beach. Everything was great I just wasn't to stoked about my order, I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was just dry and had a little too much salt. All and all I will definitely be back but I'll try something else, we really enjoyed it.
