Worst customer service! Had an over priced exam & purchased glasses. Receptionist treats you like working is an inconvenience in her life. No respect. Promised lenses & frames will be ready 7-10 days. Going on 7 weeks and still no glasses! Had a major change in eye vision and waiting 7 weeks to be able to see is unacceptable. I have contacted them 4 times and still no call back or refund. I guess next steps are legal.

Sandia Vision Clinic Nobhill
I'll be thorough because I thoroughly DO NOT recommend Sandia Vision Nobhill. The best ever, Dr Alyssa Irons, no longer accepts Presbyterian Centennial after my family and I have been happy going there for twenty years. I was looking forward to another office and Dr and Sandia was the place that had the first appt months out.
The parking lot appears to be only for so I parked at Flowers. I stood at the locked door looking into the office with three workers ignoring me while I followed the directions to call from my car to be allowed in (10/21). They finally

This is going to be a long post. I apologize in advance.
On May 19th I went to Sanidia Vision on Eubank to order new glasses. I was very satisfied with the pair I got from them two years ago and with their service. Due to Covid, the office is locked down tighter than Ft. Knox now. You have to call them when you arrive so they can unlock their door to take you inside. Picking out frames was "interesting", too. You sit down across a desk from the person helping you select frames. They bring several choices and help you pick one. You aren't allowed to peruse the selection on the wall

So I picked up my new glasses today at the Eubank location. The young man was too busy to provide good service. I asked him to adjust the new glasses as they were slipping. First he man- splanged how to wear glasses. I asked a second time and he advised me to make an appointment. I don't drive ( legally blind). I walked home and called a friend to get a ride to another optical shop. Terrible customer service.

Save yourself some headaches and frustrations and avoid going to either Sandia Vision Clinic location. I have been going for about two years to see Dr. Estrada. I like her very much and think she is a great eye doctor. The customer service in the optical shop, however, was beyond ABYSMAL. Even when I finally got to speak with an actual person about my issue (they don't answer the phone, they text you after you call and ask if they can help via text), it was made clear to me that they didn't really care about my experience or their lackluster service. They must be used to those kinds of

Ive been coming here since about 2015 always have loved it but until recently I went in December 2020 excited to get new glasses once i was put with an optometrist she was rude, didn't seem interested and rushed my process of picking my lenses. She didn't allow me to look at any of the frames myself just put a handful of frames in a box pretty much just sat there in annoyance wanting me to hurry up. So just picked a frame I wasnt exactly happy with. After my glasses were ready I picked them up and the prescription was not right so I made an appointment to come in and get them fixed I

Worst customer service I've ever seen. My glasses were more than a month late and they only realised they hadn't given them to me when they were calling to ask for more money because they charged me the wrong amount. The don't answer the phone, and did not respond to text when I requested to schedule an appointment. Don't go here. You will be disappointed.

During this time of COVID, the transition in and out of the clinic was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary. However, there was a lack of forward thinking in relation to the customer service we received. We took our daughter there to try different styles of frames, but they weren't very helpful. You would think because they are the experts they would offer recommendations and guide customers in selecting the best frame, but we didn't get that. Perhaps it was just a bad day, and the rep didn't care. In any case, we placed an order and hope they work out. Thanks for reading!

Would give a zero review if possible. I tried this place due to the good reviews. I scheduled my appointment a month ago, they called me and told me a week before my appointment that they lied about the availability. The doctor doesn't work on that day. Tried to reschedule for two weeks later, which doesn't work due to health issues. ZERO offers to help accommodate a new or similar appointment. I don't recommend unless you like *wasting your time*. USELESS.

This place is absolutely horrid. They have a great selection of frames but will try to strip you to your last penny. They are inconsiderate about your time and money and they won't take the time to make a bad situation better. Oh by the way, I've had 3 bad experiences with them, I thought it was only a bad day, service will be better next time. ABSOLUTELY NOT, SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ITS NOT WORTH IT.

My family and I will not be going back due to issue with my child's glasses. Received them in March and by June(4 months later) we have a fourth break. Same spot, exact same break. Obviously a flawed design. Each time the tech has said, " you should have been restyled the last time but since it's broken so many times we can only do one last replacement", but NEVER was offered a replacement and each time I have had to push hard for replacement. Keep in mind I have a second younger child with glasses who has had the same pair for almost two years. I spend over $1000 per year

Best optics place in ABQ!
So we have been going to Sandia Vision for years. They have always treated us fairly, but today they REALLY stepped up. One of thier employees made a mistake and over estimated what the insurance would pay. After checking out but before we could leave the employee found us and told us what happened. I was fuming! Thenkids had picked their glasses were happy and now they were going to have to choose other frames?!?
When I asked to see his boss, he disappeared for a moment but came back alone. I am thinking, oh it is on! Then the employee said that his boss told him that

Well the provider that I saw (Chinichi) was very good and took his time with the exam, unlike other optometrists. My only complaint and the reason why I gave the rating that I did is because when they called me to confirm to get fitted for my hard lenses, the lenses were sent to the wrong location. The front desk called me three times prior to my appointment, asking for my prescription, I said, i don't have my prescription, it is in your system. As I am sitting here at the office and they send someone to drive across town to get the contacts.. all the while I am writing this review. I hope

I've been to other eye doctors before, but no one is as thorough or knowledgeable as Dr. Chinisci. Sure, wait times can be kind of slow sometimes and the receptionists go through several turnovers, but I've gotten good results here with my glasses (my mom is a different story, although she has a higher prescription, and has had to wait weeks if not months for glasses to come in). Can be expensive without insurance

Seeing as I don't wear glasses or contacts and have stellar vision, my experience here was quick and painless.
Despite the aging outer appearance, the clinic is modern and clean. Seems to be operated like a fine tuned machine. Everyone was professional ushered me from room to room as I completed several tests before seeing the doctor. As vision centers go, this one is nice.
Why not 5 stars: read the fine print. In this case, it's a regular print, but if you have vision problems, it might seem like fine print (ha ha har) The papers they have patients sign before being seen tack
