Proper lens placement within your chosen frames is as important as an accurate prescription. Proper lens positioning minimizes headaches, incorrect body posture, and eye strain. Many details need to be taken into account, such as the distance between the eyes and pupils, the proportions of the face, the tilt and wrap of the frames, and even posture, to accurately position the lenses within the frames.
Every eye is as unique as a human fingerprint. With i. Profilerplus(R) by ZEISS more than 2,500 reference points within your eye are examined to produce an extremely detailed vision profile. Unlike traditional exams, varying light conditions are also taken into account to provide customized vision-both day and night.
Smart phones and tablets have become essential to your life. But your eyes weren't designed for digital screens, or the constant refocusing from the screen that comes with frequent smart phone and tablet use. The result: your eyes get tired faster. That's why 70% of U.S. adults suffer from Digital Eye Strain.

They need to update there website about what insurance they take, and let previous patients know avout insurance changes.
Also in response to the companies comment yes your website did say that you accepted centennial because i checked before proceeding to make an appointment which is in fact misleading.

This is the worst optical business, I’ve encountered!! I would tell everyone to stay away because I’m a veteran and went there on Monday the 26th of April 2021. It was through my insurance the VA Hospital, and they didn’t have my authorization code but did schedule my appointment due to getting a text message stating my appointment was all set! Tru-West gave them the code or else they couldn’t schedule the appointment. The guy at the front desk is so lazy, he expected me to get the code for them. He just said, we can’t see you if you don’t have the authorization code and I told him

Have been a customer here for decades, because of the great staff. Back in the day Rita was the bomb, she's now happily retired but the new generation is following in her footsteps with great knowledge of the products and plans and how to best meet the needs of the customer. Can't tell you how many times we've been in and had our frames tweaked and fixed all for free and with a smile on the face. I just can't say enough about the staff here.
Dr. Kniffen is also a great optometrist. She is very up on the science and testing to keep our eyes healthy.

Office manager's shocking behavior
Update: one week later.
This is what was exactly said in our exchange of texts. I wish I could include a screenshot so you can see I’m telling the truth.
ME: “Hello Dr Niffen, The frames on my glasses were significantly changed so they’re giving me headaches. Half the time I can’t even wear them. Can we meet next week to get this taken care of?
First, I tried contacting the office manager, but I wasn’t understood. This has made the situation uncomfortable for me. Would any of these times work for you... etc”

As a patient of Casey Optical for over 5 years, I think I can say that the quality of service has really taken a dive. Dr. Kniffen herself is a good doctor. Her staff on the other hand appear disorganized and lack communication skills. The low rating comments are about the same: "I ordered glasses and they took way longer to come in than what I was told." It is understandable that orders get behind. The simple way to make that right is to contact the patient and Be Honest, saying the will come in tomorrow three days in a row is extremely unprofessional. Having to call and inquire about something

I called and made an appointment to have my contact prescription updated. I showed up for the appointment and got called in. We began the process of checking my eyes, and then realized they were also trying to get info about my glasses. I clarified that I was only there to have my contacts updated. They told me that they wouldn't update my contacts unless I updated my glasses too (an additional cost of 110$). This was never mentioned to me when I made the appointment. I again reiterated that I was only there to get my contacts and didn't need my glasses updated, but they refused to help me further

I really really like Dr. Kniffen, as an eye doctor and as a human being, but...some of the office staff, not so much. There was a problem with
the most recent pair of glasses that I bought from them...that was not
resolvable. Manny, the guy who sells eyeglasses, was really irritated with me, and rude, and snotty about it all. He was so difficult with me that another customer heard it all and came over to my defense! I had to see Dr. Kniffen again to get her
approval for a refund, which they don't like to do for eyeglasses. When I went upfront after seeing her to get my refund, the assistant

I went to Casey Optical to get new glasses based on Google reviews. My usual doctor only sells contacts and I needed glasses. I was taken care of by Rita. She did a great job helping me to pick a new frame for my glasses. She seemed very knowledgeable about the kind of frame that would look good on me, and the kind of lenses I should get. Once the glasses arrived, they made sure everything fit properly before letting me go. I am very happy with my new glasses and would recommend this place.
