We are an opioid addiction center specializing in medication-assisted treatment and therapeutic counseling. Urban Peaks Rehab is pleased to be able to offer medication management services to patients seeking to participate in Ketamine-assisted therapy. This is also referred to as Psychedelic Psychotherapy. Psychedelic Psychotherapy can be used to several disorders such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Drug Addiction / Substance Abuse, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Social Anxiety and Depression.
Urban Peaks Rehab is a Suboxone clinic located in downtown Denver on the corner of East Colfax Avenue and Lafayette Street. We are conveniently situated between the Capitol Hill, Cheeseman Park, and City Park neighborhoods making us easily accessible to the Denver metro area. The 15 and 15L buses stop at Colfax Avenue and Downing Street just 2 blocks from our location.

I absolutely, positively, 120% just ADORE Sally and Doc Johnston at Urban Peaks Rehab!
They have literally put meaning into my life again. They are SO kind hearted, sincere and validating of my issues and life hurdles at every single visit.
Sally is the most welcoming person. Upon walking in, she always has a smile and something constructive and recovery related to chat about. I don’t know HOW she remembers practically everyone’s name that walks through the door, but she does.
Doc Johnston is by FAR the BEST source of healing words, thoughts and ideas I’ve had regarding my addiction struggles

I’ve been going to urban peaks for a little over 6 months now and see Dr. Johnson for my Suboxone maintenance. The staff is incredibly friendly, supportive and, I believe, genuinely cares about me as a client. They remember personal things I tell them about my recovery and have always been super supportive. Never have I felt like just a number while in their care nor have I ever felt judged or looked down on when talking about what’s happened or going on in my life. As someone in long term recovery, that means something to me and I feel like this office is a part of my recovery that will help

First off, I was with “Dr” Chad for almost 2 years before he suddenly decided I couldn’t be his pt anymore. After he convinced me to leave another practice where I met him.. FYI I haven’t relapsed in almost 4 years now on ANYTHING.
Chad had the nerve to kick me out. He does make you feel better and tell you what you want to hear so he can get your money. But I was initially very happy there. He texted me out of the blu and said I couldnt be seen anymore. Not sure if he was using again but he got pretty weird with the texting. When I asked him why he totally GASLIGHTED me when I asked about

I've been a patient of Dr Johnston's for a few years. He is non judgemental and genuinely cares about his patients. When I go in for my appointments I always feel as if I'm visiting my family. Kirstin and Sara are always happy to see me. My pup is too..love my boy. These people saved my life. I couldn't stay clean but they never gave up on me. Had it not been for their kindness I truly believe I would have died. Thank you for helping me get through some really tough times. I made it one day at a time. Outstanding service here. I'm upset I moved cities and won't be able to stay in this program because the staff were so awesome.
I was scared and hesitant to admit I needed help, as I naively felt I had my use under control. Pain from multiple surgeries and a gunshot wound threw my life in a downward spiral. So I sought help and luckily stumbled upon Urban Peaks.
GRATEFULLY I was able to be seen same day! My first visit was rather short. I had the same amount of time filling out paperwork as I did speaking with Doctor Johnston. But, I did get in at the very end of the day so that may why. Doctors

I've been going to Dr. Chad for a bit over half a year. I have insurance through Kaiser but had problems with wait time for treatment and lack of available therapist time. Kaiser feels like I have to work the bureaucracy to get help, while Urban Peaks is proactively helpful and immediately available.
Diana the therapist at Urban Peaks has helped me just as much if not more than Dr. Johnson.
At Urban Peaks I get personal treatment, staff that remembers me and seem to truly care about my recovery, and one on one care at a high level.

Dr. Johnston is by far, the best Doctor i ever had. He cares and listens. He wants to know everything your going through and helps you find a salutation to every problem. You can be totally honest with him. He does not judge. His staff is amazing. I have also come to know Kristen and Brittany very well in the last three years. These girl's are always there to help you right away or get back to you asap to solve any issues you may have. They have gone above and beyond for me in my time of need. I thank all of you, for everything you have done for me. I just love you guy's. 😍🤗😁

I transferred from Magnolia to Urban Peaks and couldn't be happier. The contrast is striking. The staff are all very friendly, professional, and go above and beyond to resolve any issues. Dr. Johnston is by far the best doc I've ever had, addiction or otherwise. Everyone that works there actually CARES about thier patients which is very different than any of the many similar clinics I've been to in the past. Urban Peaks has the best staff! Dr. Chad Johnston, Brittany,and Kristen have played major roles in my personal recovery. These people genuinely care about us guys! I have and will continue to recommend this clinic to anyone wanting to get clean using MAT. These are 3 of the best people I've met since seeking recovery. This office is far and away the best rehab/psychiatry facility in Denver. Their level of personal and individuated care is astounding. Kristin and Brittney are amazing. They are always willing to go above and beyond to ensure their patients are cared for. Dr. Johnston is the best in the industry he know how to connect with his patients and build a foundation to a great doctor patient relationship.
They are Kind, do not judge and typically have same day appointments.
