Iyengar Yoga South Bay, formerly Yoga Fitness has been an established yoga studio in Silicon Valley since 1984. For 30 years we have been offering the public classes in Iyengar yoga. Iyengar Yoga is based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar, living yoga master and the author of the classic yoga treatise, "Light on Yoga".
His dedicated personal practice and over 65 years of teaching have produced significant innovations in the teaching of yoga. These innovations have now become established and known as "Iyengar Yoga". At our studio, these innovations mean that you will be introduced to a safe and systematic progression of asanas (yoga postures) that will develop your ability from class to class.

Services
Please talk to your teacher about payment options, including Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle, personal check, etc. Please get the specific options directly from your teacher. Iyengar Yoga South Bay is fully equipped with changing rooms, mats, props, and public restrooms. Some students prefer to bring their own mats.
Bhuvna's passion for Yoga began as a young adult when she picked up her first copy of Light on Yoga. She is a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, having graduated from the Iyengar South Bay Teacher Training program and continues to study with Jito Yumibe and Marla Apt. She has studied in India with the Iyengars and received her Iyengar certification in 1988.
Registrations may be transferred to another person without charge. Refunds will be issued only if a written cancellation request is received by Iyengar Yoga South Bay by three days prior to the workshop. Written cancellation requests may be emailed to jitoyumibe@sbcglobal.net or surface mailed to be received prior to the cancellation deadline.
This is an on-going class for yoga students with chronic or complex conditions that prevent them from participating in a general class. Some examples are joint pain or dysfunction, heart or blood pressure conditions, cancer and recovery from surgeries that require modifications beyond the scope of a general class.
Iyengar Yoga South Bay is located in the Campbell Community Center in Building B, Room 29. Within the Campbell Community Center, Building B is the building that is closest to the corner of Winchester Blvd and Campbell Ave. We hope the following maps are useful, but you can always get personalized directions from google, mapquest, etc.

If you are looking for the best Iyengar studio in the South Bay, the Yoga Fitness studio in Campbell is the best. Linda is a fantastic instructor. She explains everything clearly and then helps the students to achieve the pose without the risk of injury. She give words of encouragement to help the students perform the pose better. The studio is large and very well equipped with good quality props.
