Through the practice of yoga, we guide you through a journey of movement and mindfulness that allows you to slow down and clear your mind. Our calm, welcoming space is reflective of our compassionate belief that each of our students is important, and that we can help every student take something meaningful away from their mat and out into the world.
Services
Our Kripalu-certified teachers guide you through a flow of movement and mindfulness that benefit the body and the mind. Our goal isn't simply physical exercise, and it's not the attainment of a perfect downward dog, either. It's to provide a calm space where you can shed what's happening in the outside world, tune into yourself and unwind.
All classes on our schedule will be taught on Zoom and in-studio simultaneously, so you will have the flexibility to attend class in a way that works best for you. You need be pre-registered to attend in-studio classes (no exceptions, space is limited to 6 students per class). Explore all the elements of yoga while releasing tension and anxiety, focusing on your body's sensations and connecting with your mind, body and spirit.
Lotus Yoga provides a supportive, relaxed atmosphere focused on creating a meaningful practice for each student, regardless of ability or experience. All of our teachers are certified by the renowned Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA. We strive to keep class sizes comfortable in order to maintain a personal connection between the student and instructor.
Take control of your pregnancy and delivery in a yoga class designed to keep you calm and comfortable while preparing you for labor. This unique combination gives you the physical strength to navigate pregnancy, and helps you tap in to your inner wisdom and instincts. As you increase your intuitive awareness of your mind and body, you'll strengthen your ability to listen to and trust your inner voice.

Prenatal yoga and Baby and Mom yoga were both enormous gifts to me with my first. I met so many other new moms (many of whom I still stay in contact with) and treasured the opportunity to participate in such a supportive community of women. Melissa creates a comfortable, judgement free atmosphere that welcomes all. I am now back to prenatal with my second pregnancy and am so grateful for the Zoom and in-person options.

It is not often that I write reviews and I should do so more often. I was a non-believer of studio yoga. I preferred my home and a tv but my wife kept at me through several injuries over the past two years, to give it a try. She has been going to Lotus Yoga diligently with rewarding results and introduced me to Melissa, the owner. And through several conversations with Melissa, I finally tried a class last month. I have never found a more instructive, caring, and attentive teacher and I am a workout fiend and have dealt with several instructors who were too busy with the surrounding environment

STAY AWAY!! Melissa is extremely rude. I miss read their website and went in for prenatal yoga. I was told to come in using the side door so I entered. I thought I’d enter into a receptionist area (like most places) so I was ending a very important phone call PLUS I believed I was early. NOPE, I entered right into the yoga room full of women, the instructor yelled at me to get off the phone. Which I did, obviously. Instructor got up to grab the paperwork for me, I apologized for being late because I misunderstood their class schedule. She then very rudely and loudly asked me if I was pregnant

Here's another review for Lotus Yoga's amazing prenatal yoga classes. Melissa was so kind and genuine. I showed up a few minutes late to my first class (because that's who I am as a person) expecting the usual judgy glances and maybe a reminder from the instructor that I should come early, but everyone was so welcoming and warm. Each class starts off with introductions and Melissa asked each person what they needed from the class (swelling, hip pain, sleep difficulties, etc.). She then catered the class to our needs and told us throughout the practice which moves we should be sure

Lotus Yoga's prenatal classes are a godsend. Not only is Melissa knowledgable, she is extremely caring and invested in each members' well being. She works hard to get to know each student. The beginning of every prenatal class starts with a round table of what everyone is struggling with..aches, pains, etc. Melissa then caters the class to whatever kinks the students need working out. I always come out of the class feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to take on another day!

I can only attest to their prenatal classes, but I assume that their other classes are fantastic as

I probably won't be able to put into words how great this place is, just go!
I did yoga for years through town rec departments, but was always intimidated by the idea of a yoga studio. When I was pregnant in 2010, I sought out a prenatal class and found myself here, and haven't looked back! Melissa has created a calm, supportive, wonderful space to practice yoga and connect with yourself, her, and others in the class. Prenatal and baby & mom classes are part yoga, part support group! Perfect place for prenatal yoga. Melissa Little is very knowledgeable. She gives you individual attention that you need. She also provides great information for pregnant ladies. Love love this place.

Ok so coming from the Worcester Area, I was fortunate to find this GEM !!!!

I will never seek another Yoga place, its become like a home away from home and both the instructor Melissa and my fellow classmates in the practice are amazing and make you feel welcome.

Melissa is very knowledgeable in her Yoga practice and with a class that is so big at times, Im amazed how she always manages to make sure you are taken care of as well as your specific needs are addressed when you arrive at practice.
