Sacred Rivers Yoga
We have made the decision to let go of the 28 Main Street, East Hartford property. It is difficult, currently, to justify the expense associated with a brick and mortar physical space. We look forward to continuing to serve you virtually and outdoors as we navigate these times. Yoga is a multifaceted spiritual tool with enhanced health and well-being as one of its positive effects.

A new study from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) reported "clinically meaningful" improvements in patients with low back pain (LBP) after an eight-week yoga program.

I attended a yelp event at Sacred Rivers Yoga recently and really enjoyed the studio. The people working there were very friendly, and the yoga instructor was great at tailoring the workout to beginners and more advanced participants. Due to the yelp event, I would definitely consider returning for more classes! After my muscles recover from the first workout :)

My 11-year old daughter and I have been attending the monthly Family Yoga class with Erika and we love it. This class has such a good flow of poses, and Erika really engages the kids' imaginations as she talks us through each pose and transitions to the next. We both have felt very comfortable and have had a lot of fun. I am so happy we found this class!

This is one of my favorite yoga studios. The second floor space is large, open and inviting. All of the yoga instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, however I enjoy Kate and Loren's classes the most. They are always unique and I know I will be challenged. Definitely check this place out. SRY usually has a Groupon offer or a discounted first month so people can try it without a big commitment.

I found out about this yoga studio through Groupon, and it's one place I'll definitely continue returning to even without a Groupon. There are so many classes offered by a variety of teachers in a variety of different teaching styles. With all of the times and options offered, there's something to please every yogi. Most classes are an hour and fifteen minutes long. Their website is very user friendly and always up to date with the class schedule, a description of each class, and a bio about the instructor, which generally includes the experience level of the instructor and what

I've been to several classes here and it's usually a good experience. Sometimes they try to pack waaay too many people in the 5pm weekday classes, so consider a daytime or later evening class if you're not a fan of practicing yoga in a super crowded space. The instructors are friendly and attentive. Every few months they offer a great unlimited package on Groupon so keep an eye out for that! Otherwise it's a bit pricey.

My my my the receptionist makes you want to run away
Haven't tried the yoga because the receptionist is very young, probably a teenager, and very clueless
Place looks very nice, so i was very disappointed, the first person you meet needs to know something about where they work, just sayin

This place is my favorite yoga studio. I have been to quite a few in CT and Mass but this has my favorite instructor who totally makes class fun but also a workout. Maeve is the sweetest and she plays the best music lightly as you go through poses. I love her classes because I get a workout but also feel relaxed after class. I have been going to this location since it opened so about 6 months maybe? I am progressing in my flexibility and it's nice to break up yoga when you had a hard day or are stressed. The class was inviting and once I leave I am happiest.

I have also taken classes by

What a lovely community at this local yoga studio.

And now they have moved a brighter, more spacious facility right down the road from their old studio.

This last weekend was their opening weekend. They offered a full weekend of free yoga classes. I wish I could have taken them all.

The yoga teachers are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The massage therapist is excellent. He was giving free chair massages. Great technique and pressure.

The studio spaces easily accommodated 30 people. Nice, new, and clean.

Sacred Rivers Yoga is an excellent place for any level of yoga participant. I won a gift card and am a newbie. I assumed Beginners Yoga would be slow. I was wrong. It kicked my butt and I felt amazing afterwards. Do yourself a favor and try this place. I'm going to be doing yoga the rest of my life.

Lovely little spot in suburbia. There are a lot of course offerings at all different times throughout the day. I shopped around a bit until I found a teacher/course/schedule that fit my needs, now I go every week. Everyone has been very nice across the board. Very welcoming and no attitude. Rooms are small so get in early to get a spot.
