Casa Maya opened for the first time in Gillette on June of 1986. The menu and the atmosphere were carefully designed to make you involved with the Mexican culture. Our priority is always providing excellent service in a real Mexican atmosphere. Our commitment to quality empowers us to offer our customers excellent service and values.

The Sonoran style Mexican cooking we feature is subtly spiced contrary to popular belief that the Mexican food is very peppery. However, for those desiring added pepperiness, we have spicy table sauces. We take extra time and care to ensure that our chef has the best ingredients available in which to prepare your meal.

Lunch Report

Two deep-fried corn tortillas rolled and stuffed with your choice of beef, pork, or chicken. Served on a bed of lettuce and tomato with guacamole and sour cream. A large flour tortilla stuffed with your choice of filling and topped with melted cheese and mild red sauce. A crispy shell filled with rice and beans and your choice of chicken, beef, pork or refried beans.

Catering Report

Mexican stew made with tender chunks of marinated pork simmered in our dark rich mole sauce. Served with corn or flour tortillas. Your choice of chicken, steak or pork, marinated and charbroiled with flour or corn tortillas. Served with guacamole and sour cream. Ranchero style chicken sauteed with fresh corn and mushrooms then covered in our rich Monterrey sauce for a unique Mexican dish.

Great food, the Carnitas are to die for, huge portion! Steak Ranchero was served rare and it was a huge portion! Had leftovers of both the next day.

Really liked the food. An unexpected Gem on an awkward location. Parking is behind the two houses behind the restaurant and you kind of walk pass the front of the other houses to get to the restaurant. Accidentally found the parking lot. Service was great. Food was very good. Ambiance nice. Would travel here again.

Food is outstanding. Best Mexican in the area. It’s a small restaurant so there is often a wait but it is well worth it. A little on the expensive side but very good quality. Always happy with my experience here.

Awesome authentic Mexican food and wonderful service. The owner is warm and welcoming and they do suggest great dishes from their menu according to your liking.

It's a pretty place. All the dishes we had were tasty. They have a good parking lot in the back. The only problem we faced was that the place is not pet friendly. So, we had to keep our dog in the car while we ate.

A small Mexican restaurant with simple but delicious food. Staff is good, but the ambiance is amazing. This place is great for dinner with the family, a date for a loved one, or even a quick bite by yourself.

Great Mexican food! Chicken with mole sauce was great. We also had the nachos super yummy. Everyone loved their dinners. Food was very good. Service was great. Atmosphere is authentic Mexican inspired. Fun place to eat. Good portions.
