For over 40 years, Dr. Mohsen Alinaghian OD, better known as Dr. Ali by his patients and colleagues, has been practicing General and Pediatric Optometry in Orange County. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from the West Virginia University, Dr Ali pursued his Bachelor of Science and received his Doctorate degrees from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1974.

Dr. Ali is awesome for kids! He and the staff were so kind and caring to my 3 year old daughter, were patient with the eye test to make sure we got the info we needed. She’s now wearing super cute glasses that have literally changed her life, she can see so much better after just one week with the glasses and I’m so thankful! Definitely check them out if you think your child needs glasses

I have been coming to Dr. Alinaghian for 17 years now and i trust him to walk me through my needs and questions. The entire team has always taken an interest in my health and well being. They have now also helped me to set up a plan for my children's vision needs and long term planning.
It is nice to have a Dr and team that I feel safe with and trust.
Also, their Covid protocols made me feel comfortable with coming into the office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Alinaghian for nearly 20 years and in that time I have experienced nothing but excellent service and care. Dr. Ali and his front office staff have gone above and beyond for me each and every time I have come into the office. I'm always greeted with the warmest regards, received the top level of care, and sent home educated about the health of my eyes, with a generous supply of items to care for my contacts and glasses. I've been a patient of Dr Alinaghian for years. The office staff are awesome and always friendly and very informative. Dr Ali is very knowledgeable and happy to explain everything.
They have all of the latest technology for safely and effectively evaluating your eyes and their health, not just giving out a prescription. They monitor your overall health. Dr Ali is kind and patient and I can't recommend him enough!

I've been going to Dr. Alinaghian's office since 1994 (almost 3 decades). My dad, mom, grandma, wife and now my son all getting treated by Dr. Alinaghian. We paid a visit in late summer during the pandemic and they informed us ahead of time about arriving early and following certain protocols for our safety and their safety as well and as usual we were welcomed and got our eye examination. Dr. Alinaghian and his staff have always been great! He's been my optometrist for the past 20+ years. He is very patient and kind, just like the front office staff. They go above and beyond to help me choose glasses and explain everything. During my last visit a week ago, they took all necessary Covid precautions which made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Alinaghian if you're looking for an optometrist!

Customer service here is terrible, my mom had an appointment with Dr Alinaghian, but her experience with the doctors assistant/wife was so bad that she will not be going back to this doctor nor would recommend it to anyone. It seems that they had recently relocated their office but emailed the address with a typo, because of their mistake my mom arrived to her appointment 12 minutes late. The assistant was extremely rude and disrespectful to my mom because of her tardiness even though it was their mistake. They switched her appointment to a later time and then cancelled that appointment too. They

This was my second visit with Dr.Ali. Exceptional physician, who listen to his patients. Will suggest options and is always concerned and without doubts is interested in his patients well being. Awesome experience. Staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. All my family insurance coverage was explained in great details. Office is very clean and disinfected environment.

Dr. Alinaghian was great! I went in for an eye exam and it went very smoothly. My appointment did not feel rushed - I really appreciate the fact that he answered all of my questions and concerns with detailed explanations. I can tell he's really passionate about what he does. I wish there was option of 0 stars so I could give them zero. I chose this doctor because of his good reviews, but his extremely unprofessional and rude front staff makes certain for patients to not end up actually experiencing a visit from this doctor. I’ve made an appointment for my daughter and waited for more than a month. I have been a patient Of Dr. Alinaghian for a couple of years now. He is by far the best optometrist I have known and he is very kind and knowledgeable. No one likes going to doctors offices but it’s a treat to visit dr. Alinaghians office. The front desk is always organized and super sweet. What an incredible group of caring individuals. From the moment we walked in we felt attended to in a very sweet professional manner. We was there for a little less than an hour and there was not one moment that we did not feel as though we weren't a priority and the best part of it all is that they are incredibly knowledgeable and could explain exactly what was being done and at the end what was needed. I've been coming here for uh 10-15 years. I haven't had any problems. The dr. is great. The only thing I agree on is the prices are pretty high compared to elsewhere for the glasses, but you can just get the prescription and go elsewhere if you want. They've never gave me any problems with that. I usually buy from them because they have certain frames that I like.

I usually don't write reviews, but I had to share my experience with Dr. Mohsen and his office. I've been a patient for the past 15 years and the office was great when my son had a blocked tear duct. He was going on 2 years old and we went to different doctors who wanted to do risky surgery's. Dr. Mohsen told us that most tear ducts open on their own and that we should wait. He was great with my son who was terrified of doctors at this point. Dr. Mohsen really went out of his way to make my son at ease and let him play with some of his equipment. You can tell he really loves

Dr. Ali and his staff are the best!! Not only they are caring and compassionate towards their patients, they help those in need any chance they get. They travel to remote places and offer free check up and glasses to those who can't afford them. I admire their passion and wish there were more people like them in the world.

Unfortunately I'm not going to recommend this place to anyone because of the front desk staff. She is very impolite, rude and delivers horrible customer services. I would doublethink before wanting to encounter that lady again seemed like she hated her job. I hope the doctor will give her a serious note.

They also teach you how to use contact if you first time user.they have really nice staff as well. Highly recommended to everyone.

Worst and most expensive optometrist visit I have ever experienced in my life.
It started out well. Dr. Mohsen Alinaghian seemed nice and seemed to know what he was talking about. However, He did say my prescription was 0.5 higher than I thought it should be, but I believed him because he is supposed to be the expert.
However, after the exam, that's where the trouble began.
After the exam completed, they told me my bill.
For a standard contact lens fitting with astigmatism and 2 boxes of lenses, here is the exorbitant prices they gave me:
Standard exam: $210
Contact lens fitting: $120
