Our mission is to provide a comprehensive eye exam in order to educate you and your family of all of your visual needs. We will diagnosis and treat any visual conditions with the most advanced technology available. Prevention is key! Maintain your eye health by coming in regularly for your eye exams.
An eye exam consists of more than just checking to see if you need glasses. During a comprehensive eye exam, we not only determine your prescription for glasses or contact lenses, we also assess your eyes' ability to work together as a team (binocular vision).
The dilated portion of the comprehensive eye exam helps us check for eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataract, and macular degeneration; and helps us evaluate your eyes for signs of systemic disease such as diabetes, high blood pressure, even brain tumors.Adults and children should have routine eye exams to keep prescriptions current and to check for early signs of eye diseases.

Dry eye symptoms can vary from person to person. Some of these symptoms happen regularly, and others occur intermittently. Most people's symptoms are different, and can vary depending on whether they're indoors or outdoors. Dry eye disease occurs when your eyes are affected at least once per day. Believe it or not, watery eyes or excessive tearing can by a symptom of dry eyes.

Dr Chen and staff are 2nd to none! They are a distance from my home, so I decided to try another a closer to home optometrist. Well I tried a couple and they just didn't give the the same care and attention that Dr Chen's office did, so glad I came back! Sooo worth the drive! You will not be disappointed in Dr Julie Chen and staff at Concourse Optometry! They truly are the best!

Every time I come back for an eye exam, I remember how amazing Dr. Julie and her staff are. I have had a rather complicated fitting for contacts over the years. Concourse optometry is such a modern office with kind staff. I do wish that scheduling is a bit better. I had to wait over a half hour past my scheduled time to see Dr. Chen. I felt as though everything was rushed, which is understandable because they were closing soon & busy but it would be wonderful to get the full patient experience without having to feel rushed. I didn't get much detail on what was going on during the eye exam and I had to mostly do all the asking. I didn't find out my results of the basic exams we took before hand nor did we discuss them. We love Concourse Optometry! Conveniently located across his office, my boyfriend initially came here. Since it's not far from home, our son and I also switched. Parking is scarce since there is a food court and other businesses nearby who share the parking lot. However, the office has a couple of parking spots specifically for their patients. Avoiding lunch or dinner times also help!

Dr. Chen and all Concourse optometry staff were so incredibly helpful and efficient at their job. My eye exam was informative and quick. Everyone helped me choose my new frames (I'm not the best when deciding on my own). I probably tried on at least 15 different ones.

If you are seeking a comprehensive, friendly and VERY capable family optometrist consider Dr. Julie Chen for all your eye needs. While the front office staff is friendly, I appreciate the technology used for scheduling (or canceling) appoints, completing patient forms online, and having access to my medical information via the online portal. Dr. Chen uses cutting edge technology for optometric needs, too.
The office is well equipped to support COVID requirements.

My annual visit with Dr. Chen is always pleasant. During the pandemic, they take cleaning, sanitizing, and wearing masks seriously so it felt very safe.
They also had a me fill out the patient forms online beforehand which was very convenient and saved time.

The team at Concourse is fantastic. They are genuine and care so much for their patients. I actually had fun going through this experience getting new glasses.
