Services
It began with a childhood hobby of rock hunting. Growing up with parents who modeled a strong work ethic, young Joseph learned the importance of strong values and adhering to the golden rule from an early age. In 1980 Joseph Mackley founded Mackley & Company, a family business that began very simply with a desk, a chair, a telephone, and a few dollars to purchase a gem microscope.

I would give this store a negative 10 if possible. I went with my girlfriend who was going to have a custom piece made. She asked me to go with her because I used to own a jewelry store. During our time there the store owner took offense to a suggestion I made to my friend about the transaction. I introduced myself to the owner and put my hand to shake his hand. He squeezed my hand so hard it hurt and looked me in the eye while he was shaking my hand and told me "you're not welcome here when she (my girlfriend) comes here". I didn't tell my girlfriend anything about how he was

My husband and I met with Mr Mackley- we had some family diamonds that we wanted to make into one nice wedding set. He was very professional and informative of all options! He was able to create a 3D design so we could see the ring before it was made! It's more beautiful than I could have imagined and the price was extremely reasonable. Now I have an heirloom to pass down for generations to come. I was impressed with the personal touch and local feel of the business. There was never a time that I felt leery of leaving the stones with a stranger. I would recommend everyone to visit this
