A comprehensive eye exam is a full exam to check both vision and ocular health.
Dr. Broussard was born and raised in Southern California. She attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she got her Bachelor's degree in Biology. During her time at Berkeley, she served on the board of Challah for Hunger, where she did community service for local charities. After working in San Francisco as an optician, she got her Doctorate in Optometry from UC Berkeley, School of Optometry.
Dr. Enciso was born and raised in San Jose, California. She attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she received her bachelor's degree in Human Biology. While at UC Santa Cruz, Dr. Enciso worked weekends at her neighborhood's optometry office, learning the ins and outs of private practice.
Orthokeratology, or ortho-k, is the fitting of specially designed gas permeable contact lenses that you wear overnight to temporarily reshape the cornea to improve vision. Orthokeratology is a rigid gas permeable contact lens that one wears overnight to correct blurry distance vision during the day.
For most patients contact lenses can be used to correct vision. There are many kinds of contact lenses, including a variety of soft contact lenses and rigid gas permeable lenses. A contact lens fitting exam is used to determine the best contact lens options for each patient desiring contacts. Contact lenses are medical devices that require regular care and patient compliance.

Can't praise the service from Lloyd Griffiths Eyecare enough, went in for a change of glasses and got an extremely thorough eye test, where Lloyd explained everything clearly and showed me the scans on the screen. The glasses I've received are absolutely perfect, no more headaches, no more squinting or changing glasses to drive. Lloyd also picked up something in my eye he needed to look at more closely, brought me back a week later for a good look (luckily nothing of concern) no charge for this despite needing to take two appts. The whole team I've experienced are obviously happy in their work

This was my first visit to Lloyd Griffiths Eyecare for my routine eye exam. The eye exam was very thorough and Becky helped me choose my frame and gave advice on lenses. All this was done in a nice peaceful environment. There was a great choice of lovely frames too. I will definitely return and will definitely recommend to friends and family. I love my new glasses and the surprise little orange bag was a nice touch too. Excellent service by all.

Big thank you to Lloyd for going above and beyond during the current lockdown. I had an issue with a VERY big manufacturer who were not being particularly customer friendly or even logical regarding their own product, a set of prescription safety glasses. You would think they’d be falling over themselves at the moment to ensure key workers PPE is fit for purpose but sadly, no. Quick call to Lloyd and he sorted the issue with the company and replacements were delivered direct this morning. A first class independent optician with unparalleled aftercare. I was referred to LG as no other optician in Elgin could see me at short notice. It was after 3 o clock on a Wednesday so the lack of emergency appointments anywhere was arguably understandable, but at the same time very frustrating. I had a very painful eye infection which I'd been trying to manage with eye baths and whatnot, but which had finally become too sore and light sensitive to put up with. I was therefore immediately grateful that someone had finally said yes to fitting me in after their final appointment of the day. My gratitude level was then increased no end by learning that LG is

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the help and care the practice has given my boys. My youngest wears glasses and contact lenses which he finds difficult to manage. Lloyd was so incredibly patient and kind, taking plenty of time to explain everything to us in language we could follow. My eldest got something in his eye a few weeks ago, and we just couldn't get it out. Lloyd squished in an emergency appointment for him at very short notice.
