I move here from Atlanta a few months ago. I love the proximity to walk to the park and all the restaurants so close. I was in a time crunch with my job moving me so quickly but the office was great to work with and helped me with the transition. Just since I’ve been here, they have painted the hallways and are now putting in new carpet. I don’t like to work out but if you do, it’s a really nice fitness center!

My experience with District West has been amazing! From the start, the employee were welcoming, helpful, and very understanding! I felt at home as soon as I walked in. That’s the main reason I decided to lease here. The amenities are always spotless! My favorite part about District West is how secure the community is with a courtesy officer and key fob access only.

I moved here a week ago and everything has gone beautifully. My apartment is so quiet, it was immaculately clean from the prior tenant and the maintenance chief, Daniel, was here the first day to fix a small repair.

My resident experience so far has been great! The neighbors are friendly and the common spaces are very clean. The amenities are great and include a pool, gym (with Echelon bikes - one of my favorite parts) and valet trash. I love that packages get delivered directly to our doors here and how close we are to downtown. I am a new resident here and am excited to get to know the community.

My first two lease terms at District West were great. Considering the building aesthetics, location and the amenity perks this would have been a five star rating up until Krystle Wigley’s team took over shortly after my third lease term began. I moved December 2020 when my lease expired.
The central location is as good and in most cases better than competing downtown apartment complexes. Immaculately clean amenity spaces provide a relatively high end apartment living feel. Plentiful outdoor seating and grilling areas (furnishings by Brown Jordan), nice gym and one of the best pools of any downtown

I currently live here and 100% would not recommend moving here. If you have a neighbor above you, good luck getting any sleep because even the slightest step sounds like someone is going to fall through your ceiling. Also, ANY chance they get to scam you out of your own money, they will do it. If you park in one of the SEVERAL handicap spots, even if it is only to transport your groceries (since there are no luggage carts to use and parking spots are very far from the door most of the time, unless a miracle happens and there's a spot close to the door) & then move your car, the courtesy

Living here is the best! The staff is amazing super helpful. Cant beat the location! The amenities are awesome too. I love how I can just pop on the swamp rabbit trail and take off in any direction. You're right on the cusp of downtown which makes keeps it just quiet enough to either enjoy the hustle and bustle or choose a more relaxing pace.

The mew management here is absolutely horrible. There has not been a time I've interacted with the property manager, Krystle, that I haven't left infuriated. Krystle is rude and condescending and will often speak over and belittle the residents. The emails that are shared with residents are so passive aggressive it's laughable. Communication is always a concern, important information and notices are sent out at the last minute or not at all.
However, the community overall is great! Good neighbors, fabulous location, quick maintenance response etc!

Don't RENT! I needed to move quickly in Aug 2019 and experience was so difficult. I felt like I needed to beg them to rent to me at high price/low square footage yet was on deadline. Pro's: good location. Fast forward: new management - young team and also difficult and incredibly demeaning when I needed to move for job. New Management doesn't either paint walls, clean carpets or have customer service training.

I hope you take the time to read this review. We moved into District West this January. We were incredibly excited about the amenities and location near downtown. Unfortunately we had an awful experience with management, and interaction with their staff in the leasing office. To sum up a very long story we wanted to buy a home and break the lease. We provided plenty of notice to the leasing staff, and asked the office process of getting out of our lease. We were told we would be able to terminate our lease with paying a fee. It was an exuberant amount (5 months rent), but we came to terms with

My sister and her husband live at this community and absolutely love it!
I see some negative and quite frankly, nasty, reviews about management... After reading these I asked my sister if this has been her experience in the year she has lived here. She stated that management has always been pleasant to work with and went out of their way to make sure her move in went smoothly. My sister's husband travels a lot so safety is important to her. I see a comment from "Tracey M." about management having "zero concern for resident safety" however, the security within the community

Actually spoke with management about the comments on Yelp, and a lot of them actually seem like they could be "trollers" from other places in the city. District West is hands down the BEST property in Greenville.

The majority here have implied many times over ...management is an issue and you hear all about what you cannot do but nothing at all regarding community. We aren't happy here at all and Greenville is a fantastic place...just look elsewhere for somewhere to reside. Many options available besides here at District West. Check the reviews as the residents post are valid but the construction crew and false postings are not real. I suggest if interested, visit District West and talk to the residents that will he happy to inform you of what is truly offered for the high prices you will pay for

Go somewhere else this is a horrible place to live. Amenities are constantly not working. The management is horrible and rude. They have zero concern for resident safety and comfort. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else! Is living in your car your only other option? You would be happier, in fact I know several residents that would like to move in with you.

I am not a resident of District West but I visit frequently as I have multiple friends that live there. District West is an amazing facility with great amenities. Unfortunately, from my own personal experience (and from what my friends have shared) the management is a major issue. Our friends have had multiple issues with the management, and are so displeased they are considering moving. My friends moved into a brand new apartment that had not been cleaned prior to their move in. Other friends went over their two hour allotted move-in time, and management sent security to harass them. Guest parking

We love District West. DW is so beautiful and the management team and staff are so friendly and helpful, I have to give them 5 stars. The apartment units are beautiful and different floor plans/sizes are offered. Go to their website and you will see the beautiful amenities including pools, grills, workout room, yoga room, game room and the morning room with coffee. Trash valet and laundry valet service is offered. They also offer storage rooms and bike storage for an extra fee.
