While this isn't the worst apartment experience I have had, it certainly isn't the best.
My biggest issue is the amount of dog waste in this community. I am a dog owner and pick up after my dog, however I know this is not always the case. I have lived in other communities that have had similar issues but NEVER this bad. I've reached out to the leasing office at least 3 times in the past 4 months to address the issue and the response has been the same each time "we are working on it". However, I have yet to even see any kind of communication from the office regarding this issue. We received frequent

I absolutely love living in the South Ridge Apartments! The location, quality of the apartments, amenities and the price are unmatched. From the first day I started my apartment hunt, to the move in process and while living here, Reed and Hannah have been amazing. Every question and email I send is responded to promptly that has a clear answer to my questions. My apartment itself is GREAT. No complaints, well cleaned before move in, I never hear noises coming from my neighbor's apartments while in my own (which was very important to me!). The amenities and common spaces are spotless. The people here are AMAZING!! I have had a couple of events for my plant shop here and it is a beautiful apartment complex. I have had a wonderful experience. The pool area and clubhouse are so nice! I have lived here for over two years now and I can tell that the current management team in the leasing office does everything they can to make their residents of South Ridge satisfied. They were more than accommodating when we got our new puppy. They even supplied us with dog food, dog treats, and puppy pads. We were extremely grateful for their patience with us. The first year we lived here, there were some issues. Ex: The fire alarm went off 2-3 times, weekly; sometimes at 2:00 am. It was not ideal. This issue did not seem to get much attention at all until new management arrived. Now, they

I've lived here for over 6 months, there are some problems from time to time, but on the whole it's a great place, with nice amenities, and a wonderful location; I can walk to Falls Park in five minutes from my front door. The staff is great and very attentive. Every issue that has come up, I see handled in a matter of days; biggest issue is… the garage gate people keep running through and fire alarms that have gone off for various reasons. Compared my past experiences renting, this place is by far the best. But it's renting, so there's that.

Very strict policy on breaking lease early. Apparently they allow no exceptions whatsoever. A girl is renting a small apartment from them ($1,200 month 650 SF -- too expensive for Greenville, SC!) and she has 7 months left on her lease. Has to move quickly due to father having had two severe strokes in past week, so she must move in with father… to be his caregiver. SouthRidge Apartments in Greenville, SC, are being hard core with their lease policy and are trying to force her to pay at least 4 months of her remaining 7 months left on her lease, even though she can prove via documentation
